The food was good but it arrived a whole 30-45mins AFTER the 1 hour delivery window. I was starving by then I already cooked something myself and ate by the time it arrived!

Absolutely awful!!!! Spent £37.45 and the majority of the food went in the bin. The worst meal that I have ever had - Avoid at all cost!!!

When it arrived we thought the mains were starters ... totaaaaallly unacceptable. Prawn dish had three prawns, and eight prawn heads. Which is odd, the prawns are deshelled but the heads are kept on ...! The roti was good though. The drink was very odd ... blue milk with chunks of jelly, not nice. First time ever inhave had tomcall and complain. They sent us the same order all over again, which was nice, especially if the food was nice but unacceptably small, bu as it was extremely oily and tasted of old unchanged oil, we only ate the roti. Wanted a refund really. Oh. And the delivery chap couldnt even be bothered to get off his bike, we had to take it ourselves ... wierd ...

If you fancy something different from the usual takeaway options, definitely try this. We had some delicious dholl puri (veggie pancakes), chicken friend noodles and lamb daube (served with a warm baguette).

Having sampled the food served in the various Mauritian restaurants around London, I can easily say that Auberge de L'Est is the one which I keep on going back to. The place is always full and busy and a lot of Mauritians eat there which can only mean that it serves authentic and tasty Mauritian dishes which remind you of the sunshine and warmth of the small paradise-lie island. Now with the delivery service, it has become even more appealing. The menu is very diverse and appealing.
