Yum! Best kebab iv ever had and such a good sized portion! Thanks.

Ordered chicken kebab. Barely any salad and the chicken was rock hard. This was my second attempt after a mediocre effort last week, but I have learnt my lesson this time! Avoid. Lucky's are only good for a mid Otley Run slice!

 

The food was nice. Chicken from the kebab slightly on the dry side, but still tasty. The thing letting it down was the lettuce which was limp and brown in the most part!

I've tried quite a few restaurants through this site, and I long ago found a favorite in Lucky's.
Excellent quality, a good price and by far the best service I've encountered.
Their simple but delicious bases and sauce make for an enviable pizza before they even add the toppings. And the toppings themselves are never in short supply, order the right pizza and you'll find it buried under multiple layers of high quality ingredients. Even the most basic peperoni topping has to overlap just to fit in all on.
As a bonus they offer a wide variety of drinks and side orders. The chips consistently hit the sweet-spot between soft and crispy, and the potato wedges are almost a meal in themselves.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. They have offered consistently good food and good service on every order I've placed, and have firmly positioned themselves as my first stop for takeaways.

Lucky's make the best pizzas in Leeds, none of your measly "find your toppings on your pizza" here! In my eyes the best one they do is the Peri Peri Chicken - it's fab lads keep up the good work. They had been offline over the holiday period so of course when I saw they were back online my eyes lit up and I started salivating over the thought of the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza making love to my tastebuds! As usual the delivery was on time, I opened the box and couldn't wait for that first bite of the taste sensation, but horror upon horros what was this? It wasn't the usual taste and was more like a barbecue sweet taste. I got straight on the 'phone to Lucky's and the man was very apologetic and said that their pizzas are ordered in the kitchen by number and that instead of number 34 somebody had put number 33 and this was barbecue chicken pizza. He said straight away don't worry about that pizza we are sending you up the Peri Peri chicken as quickly as they could. Lo and behold in only 20 minutes I had my baby back - what fantastic service. Thank you Lucky's!

the pizza awful taste

The reason I used to order at Luckys is that they seem to be the only ones that have pizza gorgonzola, last 2 times pizza came without gorgonzola last time I even explicitely said please put gorgonzola and they didn't.. The time before that I ordered a pizza with extra prawns and it came without prawns.. not ordering again now.

The third time I ordered this month, the first two times very good, the last time there was almost no gorgonzola on the pizza =(

Realised too late that my pizza was almost stone cold and that I was charged 8 quid instead of 7. Had to put it in the oven for 10 mins. Shame as it was tasty. Won't be ordering again.

This has been the first time ordering from Lucky's but it certainly won't be my last - I ordered a chalk and cheese pizza (half vegetarian and half donner king and you can't get more like chalk and cheese than that really can you!!!) and peri peri chicken pizza along with a portion of chips. I have to say that the peri peri chicken pizza was the best pizza I have ever tasted and just the right amount of kick to it and this is going to be added to my favourites. In fact my mouth is salivating at the thought of it again (note to oneself cannot order this again tonight and to leave a few days inbetween so I don't look a pig of a pizza monster!). The chips were lovely crispy on outside and fluffy on the inside. Service was well within time limit set and arrived piping hot and not as described in a previous review. Would I order again - YOU BET especially for the peri peri chicken pizza - so much nicer and a lot cheaper than that other famous pizza chain with a hut in the name!

Great size (18") pizza, good toppings. Very tasty. Was still hot when it arrived. Would definitely order again.
