Maharani is one of the few restaurants in London, who serve authentic south asian cuisine. Being an Indian I am often dissatisfied with the curry houses in London because they obviously cater to the more mellowed British tastes. But I've never found any fault with Maharani's food. Their kebabs and tandooris have just the right amount of spice, without making your eyes stream and they have never delivered a charred tandoori chicken. Even the British-Indian concoctions, as the salmon tikka masala, are a tribute to south asian flavours. I would definitely recommend Maharani to everyone because their chefs pay heed to your requirements and you never have to worry about their delivery service.

Best curry house in my local area. Great flavour, nice ingredients and most of all not oily like a lot of others i have tried. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the dishes I ordered the vegetable and chicken kormas were well cooked whith a mild taste.

The food quality was poor. The chicken korma was nowhere near any style of korma I have had before. The chicken piece were bland in all the dishes. They didn't phone to say that they didn't have the drink I ordered and replaced it with another totally random drink. They got my order wrong by forgetting a portion of naan bread. Will never be eating from there again. Really apalled with the serive and quality. The only reason I haven't given the review and awful is because the rice was nice but u can't get rice wrong really can you. The menu was limited also no madras?? No lussi. Not a good experience at all

Really good quality meat. Lamb lettuce wrap was tender, delicious, almost like an Indian version of Southern BBQ food. Goan curry was delicious, tender chicken slices in a piquant, vinegary sauce. Chana Masala was nutty chickpeas in a medium hot sauce. I would happily order again.

Expensive, but one of the best Indians I've tried
