Returning home from hospital is never a pleasant experience! Especially when you have just had an operation and you hurt. All you want to do is get in bed and forget everything- except- wait! You haven't eaten anything since yesterday... hello Masala Works!

I was lying in bed in what can only be described as severe pain when this idea hit me- I could order food! So off I went to the computer and ordered my favorite- and my girlfriends! We both had Chicken Makhani, shared a Pilau rice and garlic and coriander naan, and I had the poppadoms to myself- perks of being the one operated on!

We also got a free starter, a vegetable platter, which was fantastic- we had two free onion bhajis, an aloo chop and a vegetable somosa.

The curry was fantastic- tangy yet creamy with fantastic chicken- yummy

The rice and naan were brilliant- very garlicy!

The service was very fast and it made me feel a lot better- if still in considerable pain!

Thank you Masala Works and my wonderful girlfriend for looking after me!

Great portions

The food was lovely, couldn't fault it and there was plenty to eat, my only moan ia that it did not reach me at the latest time given it arrived half a hour later than the latest time therefore 2hrs 30 mins after receiving the order.

Superb food, has become a firm favorite

Rubbish...wrong rice, no free mint dip, cold food and to top that over 2 hours for delivery. always loved masala, sometimes 3 carries a week, but recent orders have been poor quality and tonight has just been awful. its a shame.

I ordered chicken tikka, and chicken biryani. The starter chicken tikka was a little on the small side portion, but man was it tasty! the chicken was so tender, everything just melts in your mouth..you feel like you aren't chewing at all! and the flavours are excusite! and i haven't even got to the biryan rice yet! now that was something else! wasn't greasy and almost fried in oil, was packed with flavour and had a decent amount of chicken in it, everything was cooked just right. I was suprised at how little it came to aswell! it was deffinately value for money. they include salad, mint sauces, poppadoms, and a curry sauce -all free included-with the order! excellent excellent excellent! friendly service and ok delievery time! will order from here again, thank you.

The food was dank and PUKKAAAAAAAAA. Never eat such nice food... oh probably plus the additional fact that my girlfriend ordered it for me... just makes the food perfect. You know what's perfect... this is PERFECT! Thumbs up...no... TEN FINGERS UP! *waves* Ok, time for some indian fart. =X

Took ages, however the food was good, after the microwave played its part.

I ordered 4 curries and Naans and all
were really tasty which for the price
was very impressive as it
is one of the cheaper Curry
take-away's on here. On top
of the great food sent was a
whole bunch of samosas/pakoras
/(something like a fish cake)
as well as Poppadoms sent on
the house! Overall a great meal
and I will order again. One more
plus point; the portions were
quite big so can enjoy another
round of it tonight!

Great food, came on time and precisely as we'd asked, even got a few extra popadoms thrown in. I order from these guys regularly and am never disappointed.

Food was good, and delivery arrived in good time despite snow on the ground. I wouldn't bother with the free starter. We didn't get ours, and after ringing the restaurant, they said it was hungryhouse's fault. Made no effort at all to right the wrong.

Not bad at all! Nice driver - keen to talk unlike the usual version. Food good - very good - let down a bit by a King Prawn Saagwala which was a bit of a mess. It was by no means inedible but again not something I would reorder. Free starter good..
