The food at Masala is overall to a very high standard and quality as well as packaged up very well for delivery. My only criticism is that the portions are small and not very good value for money. For a takeaway, I would expect to be able to share a main with one other person but it is only enough for one.

Pretty good......one of the few takeaways that differ from the standard British-Indian takeaway fare, and go for atleast partly authentic Indian food

The food was really good, and is delivered in nice little plastic trays, that you can easily re-use at home to store stuff in the freezer.
I recommend the cheese Naans, Mmmm, much better than Pizza, any day :-) We also had the butter chicken, and the malabar chicken grand Thalis. Just one word: Delicious. I am definitely adding this one to my regular list ... Mark, W2

I have never received a bad meal from masala zone - always quick, delicious and great value for money

it seems the quality of food from Masala Zone varies a lot. the main course was disappointing in that the sauce was very watery with a few large chunks of chicken flloating in it. I have eaten this dish so many times, I know how delicious it can be if prepared well. unfortunately, the driver must have been lost as the food arrived less hot than usual.
the wine is surprisingly good at just over £6 ... Meike, W11

Ordering a thali a Masala Zone is always a bit of Russian Roulette. You have a choice of main courses, but the side dishes are daily specials. Today's combination just didn't do it for me. The raita that came with the starter was the one with rice crispies floating in the yoghurt, the potatoes were mixed with nuts and raisins and the main veggie dish was based on paneer (which is my least favourite). Unfortunately, the chicken main was below par as well as the cooks must have been in a hurry, leaving the meat in large chunks which floated in too much sauce.

This was one of the best thalis experienced at Masala Zone - ever. Every single dish was cooked to perfection, and the combination worked exceptionally well. I am writing this long after the event, but still remember the delicious mixed vegetable curry which accompanied the chicken. All dishes were lovely and hot, including the potatoes. The raita was one of the best I have had, as was the dhal.

The Dahl WS lovely but both curry's were very average. Wouldn't order from them ever again.
