Probably best indian takeout (or eat in!) I've had. Rich, interesting flavours. Will definitely order again!

Masala is my favourite indian take-away. The food is tasty, packaging and presentation is good and the delivery never takes so long

The service was quick. The food was great, the portions were a little smaller than i'm used to for Indian takeaway -coming from Australia. All in all though, a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend and will definitely order from them again!

the mutton kolhapuri was tough and the watery thin brown colored sauce that was void of any thing else
was not pungent as advertised bu treally unpleasant. Nigel, N1

The food arrived on time and was nice and hot.
The flavours were great and all the dishes tasted great, only let down by the fact that all the curries were very runny, almost soupy. Also there could have been more meat included. Geoff, N16

Have been getting takeaways from Masala Zone for a year now and everytime the experience is outstanding. Their mutton chops are the best around including taayabs. The thali set is amazing value for money with all the dishes always so well spiced with fantastic variety.

I am a new mum, with lots to do! Having a few months old baby baby means that whether you like it or not you are going to order quite a few take aways.
I am also a healthy eating vegetarian, and love my body, I like things made from scratch, I used to even bake my own bread. This introduction just to say that Masala Zone is not your average Indian restaurant! It is a southern indian, the dishes are very very tasteful and include those ingredients you may have tasted if you have visited Kerala or Tamil Nadu, where the curry includes plantains, bananas or coconut. The hygiene is impeccable. Masala zone's favourite dishes are: undhiyo and lentil khichdi (a lovely dry curry) and the vegetable biryani which in most places would be just a boiled bowl of cheap rice with a few veg chopped in, while here is the most delicious fragrant thing you can imagine. The delivery is the quickest we have experienced with Hungry house, but then we live really closed to the upper street branch. After giving birth I am back to my dress size 8, and I can have a few meals from MZ as they are an (almost) guilt free option! Roberta, N1

We shared a grand thali, which was plenty for 2 people. We also shared some street food that I think was called dahi puri, they were delicious. Delivery was really quick (under 20 mins) and the driver was very friendly.
Only negative I can think of was that we were only given half of a poppadum which was a little odd given that most places give them away free - surely it would be more hassle to break one in half! Still, despite the stingy poppadum issue, it was still an enjoyable meal and I'm sure we'll order again! Holly, N1

As ever, the food was great but I was slightly disappointed when it arrived as it was luke warm. We don't live far from the restaurant and I was a little surprised. This won't stop me from ordering again, but next time - hotter (as in temperature, not spice) food please.
