chicken black bean sauce - the meat was indescribable, don't think it was chicken, could not identify it! did not eat!
prawns with szechaun - ok but had crunchy bits in prawns and strange taste
rice - ok

Over all a very bad experience, wish i had used my normal chinese. what a waste of money!

Good, fresh tasting food. The 'special' chow mein was like a crispy noodle dish but with chow mein noodles. Took a bit long to arrive (over an hour).

Spring rolls were soggy but otherwise food was good.

Great food, great service, great value for money. This order my only quibble is was not enough chicken in the kung po chicken...

food was tasty and authentic; we ordered £47 worth of food and we were given some complimentary prawn crackers,bottle of coke and a free dish! Went down very well will order from them again

Order took one hour to arrive, was incomplete and I spent 10 minutes at the door whilst the driver called the restaurant to confirm that I had paid online as he hadn't been told!

I would recommend spending a few quid more for a more professional service.

I called ahead to ask the restaurant how they had halal duck when I'd never heard of it before. The person on the other end did not possess enough knowledge of English to say much more than "we buy it halal then we sell it" in answer to specific questions. then he rushed me off the phone.
I did later order online. Fifteen minutes afterwards they got to the order and called me to see if I existed. They told me that it would take another 45 mins to one hour despite what the website said, but they would try to get it earlier.
70 mins after the phonecall a delivery driver called to ask me where I lived because the restaurant hadn't given him my address. I directed him and called Michael's again to inform them that 90 mins was not an acceptable delivery length. They apologised and blamed him. I insisted that I would not be paying the full amount. His response was to repeat an offer of a £4 free meal next time to each of my utterings.
The delivery driver arrived at my door and had forgotten the bottle of coke, he went back to get it, but threw a hissy fit when I wouldn't pay him first. I insisted I would be taking a £5 discount, which he reluctantly accepted.
When I opened the delivered food we had been given a free egg fried rice container, but they'd failed to understand my extra instructions when ordering. They think that people ordering over the internet have also memorized the menu numbered options. The staff are incompetent.
I urge everybody to order your food from somewhere else that cares about customer service. These guys are amateurs. None of them know how to do their job.

 

Excellent as per usual, Michael's really know how to cook classic chinese takeaway. Love them.

The worst Chinese food by far. The flavor was not there and all I had was re-heated chicken with not so fresh beansprouts. The complimentary prawn crackers were a joke as well - no taste and only a few of them in the bag - which I can actually consider a positive since most of it was left anyway.
I would not recommend this place and will not order again. Level of service is fair only because I didn't have to wait too long.

Very poor food. Greasy, oversalty and tasteless. Will not order again.

Best takeaway I've come across so far. Service was quick, the delivery person was friendly, and my food arrived piping hot. The food was very good--flavorful, and served in generous portions. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

One of the better takeaways in the area. Only downside was the chips; flaccid and soggy, no good at all! Everything else great.
