Arrived in good time and still hot, however they forgot to include the requested can of coke. Bhaji Machli starter was greasy and rather bland, and curry dishes were swimming in grease. Naan, popdadoms & Lamb Tikka Balti were all tasty, Keema bhuna rather average. Have heard plenty of good things about the restaurant, shame the take-away didn't seem to be to the same standard.

The food was fantastic and have always used this take away when ordering Indian. The driver who dropped the food off had to ring me twice to find my house (this was fine) but when he did eventually get here he explained that they would not deliver to me anymore as my house is not on the main road. I have had at least 4 takeaways from here before and so has my neighbour twice. The driver then explained it was because he can't park on the road outside my house.... Which is try but only between the hours of 8am-6pm. And he dropped the food off at 10pm. The food is always great from that take away but there is no way I will order from there again. There are a lot of take aways in York and good ones.... I guess some business don't want the business. Not my loss but yours have also explained to my neighbour that she can no longer from you too.

My boyfriend and I often go to Mirchiz as the food is always great and is excellent value for money. This is the first time I have used Hungryhouse to order takeaway and found it really easy to use and very efficient.
Mirchiz is highly recommended due ot the quality of food, value for money and efficiency of service. Top marks! Alix, YO10
