I ordered the food at 7.50, was told it would arrive between 8.15 and 9.20 but came at 9.40 and was quite cold. once reheated the curry was lovely but the onion bahji was really overcooked. I do appreciate it was probably a very busy night being close to Christmas

Best indian restaurant and takeaway in York. The food is consistently excellent and comes hot and on time. Will continue to use for a long time to come. I particularly recommend the murghi massallam which is superb.

It was delivered on time and food was pretty good for the price. Will definitely recommend Mirchiz to others for a decent curry meal.

Very tasty food as always. The delivery driver forgot one of the two bags our order came in, but restaurant staff realised the mistake and sent it round before we even had chance to phone up. Excellent service.

Our order was incorrect and was late. Instead of two chicken dishes and a paneer, we got two paneer. In addition, the correct cheese dish was so coconut-y that it was almost inedible. That dish had to be seasoned at home! We had a 45-minute window in which to get the food, and we got it outside that window. In addition, the naans were soggy. After 9:30 at night, we would have eaten anything (and did), but after this horrible experience, we won't be ordering from here again.

The service was ok, despite the delivery man who swore because we a pound in 10p's. And although we hardly payed a fortune, we did not expect a curry which contained so much oil that it put us off from finishing most the dish, which was rather bland to begin with. In all, I don't think we'll be eating here again.
