Food was delivered in a reasonable time, was hot and was nice to eat. Only bad thing to say about it is I specified that I wanted Diet Coke, not normal coke (I am diabetic after all), which I wasn't happy about.

my second order from mother india and we were not disappointed. food still very tasty, generous portions and good value for money and besides i got one free meal with my order. and yes, the packaging was great. thank you. will definately be ordering again in future

it was my first order from mother India although i live 3 minutes away . we loved the quality of the food. the portions were generous and very tasty. we all enjoyed the meal. thank you, thats why i am making another order today. i hope Mother india will continue to maintain these high standards.

Took an hour and a half to arrive which would be bad for a busy night let alone a Tuesday. Wasn't the warmest when it arrived either and my request for the free drink to be diet coke instead of normal was ignored. Mixed starter - kebabs were good, baji's standard fare, samosa filling tasted strongly of malt vinegar so not great. Tandori roti was basically a slightly larger chapati and doubt it had seen the inside of a tandoor oven, pilau rice fine, lamb madras could have been anything. Didn't taste like any madras I've had before, meat a bit tough too. I like a hot curry hence my order but this one was daft and all I could taste was a hint of tomato puree and the salt from my copious tears. If you order a vindaloo, have an ambulance on standby. Wasn't up to the standard I expected on the basis of the other reviews and wont be ordering from again.

Fabulous!! As a fellow Indian, i would highly recommend Mother India (just ask for more spice though - medium is pretty mild!)! Truly authentic home cooking, and great value for money..massive portions! Will definitely be ordering here again!

Very yummy, the chicken is done just right and the shami kebabs have just the right amount of spice. Great value for money. My favourite local curry takeaway.

tut tut. just mayo on one of the burgers means no salad on one just mayo, not salad on both, mayo on one. the food was average but it didnt wow us.

The service provided by mother india last night was ridiculously bad!!! On their online menu they state that any order over £5, £10, £12 etc gets a free item of your choice within thqat price range. Me and my girlfriend purposely bought more things to put our order over £12 so we could get the free bottle of coke and 5 popadoms. However after waiting about an hour for our food which arrive barely luke warm we noticed our free items werent in the order. We rang them in order to see where our free items were and was told that offers werent valid when used with any other offer on their menui. This been my side of the order which was a pizza, fries and coke for £5.80 i have done this with other takeaways before and they have never given a rubbish reason like this. We advised them it is very misleading and should clearly state this on their menu otherwise people will be spending more money to get free items and not receiveing them which is obviously what they were going for thinking they are very smart in cleverly robbing customers money! Oh and finally the chips were disgusting they werent properly cooked and just tasted of dirty oil / fat! Wont be using again and greatly warn anyone who plans to order from them to avoid avoid avoid!!!
