Brown Sugar Bacon Recipe

In addition to pubs and playwrights, bacon is another thing the UK got right. The world has plenty to choose from, but hungryhouse is gonna go right out and say it. This is the land of the best bacon!

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner - doesn't matter - bacon does the trick. In a constant effort to please your taste buds, we would like to share this amazing (and simple) recipe for Brown Sugar Bacon.

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 slices of bacon (we like thick cut)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 110 grams brown sugar

Equipment:

  • large ziplock bag
  • baking paper or tin foil
  • baking tray
  • cooling rack
  • oven

Instructions:

1) Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees

2) Line a baking tray with tin foil or baking paper. Place the cooling rack on the baking tray.

3) Combine chili powder, Dijon mustard and brown sugar in a ziplock bag

4) Shake the bag contents until well mixed

5) Add the sliced bacon to the bag and shake until bacon is coated

6) Put bacon on rack and bake for about 20 minutes

7) Remove bacon from oven and let cool

8) EAT! (share with your friends ... maybe)
