Help us support the 'End Child Hunger' campaign

On 20th November, coinciding with Universal Children's Day, Action Against Hunger, the charity supported by hungryhouse (and by you when ordering through our site), launched it's latest campaign called 'End Child Hunger'.

Join with us in asking Gordon Brown to take a leadership role in the fight against hunger. Ask him to allocate £100 million in new funding to treat children suffering from life-threatening child hunger in countries which have already been defined as being in high priority need of aid.

You can do this by signing the No 10 web petition (you will be redirected to the official site of the Prime Minister's office).

While you're at it, why not order a takeaway as well - we donate 10p to Action Against Hunger for every £15 you spend!

The numbers are stark and heartbreaking: every year, child hunger threatens 19 million children with severe acute malnutrition. More than five million of them will die. Countless others will suffer permanent physical damage, including stunned growth and developmental delays.

However, child hunger is not inevitable. With political leadership dedicated to supporting this cause and the appropriate funding we can make child hunger a thing of the past.

Read more about the campaign on the Action Against Hunger website.
