How Does It Work?

Once you have a menu up and running on hungryhouse.co.uk, we pass orders through to you during the opening times that you choose. It's then up to you to produce the food and deliver it to your customers' houses.

The following five points show the simple process from the customer's initial decision to order from you, through to delivery and being paid:

  1. Customer visits www.hungryhouse.co.uk, types in their postcode, browses your menu and places an order
  2. hungryhouse contact you with the order, informing you of the details (including payment method)
  3. You prepare and deliver the food
  4. If the customer is paying cash, you collect this at the door
  5. At the end of each week, the balance of card payments is transferred directly to your bank account*

*Please note that whilst there is no charge for having your menu set up or listed on hungryhouse, we do charge a commission of 9% per order. This charge replaces traditional up-front marketing costs such as having menus printed and distributed, and is deducted from the balance of your card payments
