Takeaway delivery services are discovering the power of the internet, as online ordering provided by hungryhouse.co.uk catches on. The London-based website, which allows customers to order takeaway online from a choice of over 300 participating restaurants, is beginning a nationwide expansion and is inviting applications from companies that wish to increase their delivery business.

Hungryhouse bounce back after Dragons' rejection

A company which gained but then lost investment on The Dragons’ Den has finally found investors prepared to invest in the business.

The founders of Hungryhouse.co.uk, a website that makes it easier to find local restaurants and order takeaways online, won £100,000 of backing from James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne in exchange for a 50% stake in the business.
