Kashmiri Spice, Burnage

Closing time at a restaurant can mean a number of things for the quality of your takeaway. Especially on a Sunday night when productivity seems to shut down a bit early - we all know how that goes.

Michael, our Review of the Week winner was pleasantly surprised by the quality of his last minute order from Kashmiri Spice. Even though he barely made the minimum order value for delivery, he was served a variety of tasty sauces and a fresh salad to accompany his main course.

This review also reminds us why online ordering is just so much better than that 20th century order-by-phone-business!

Michael wins £25 for discovering a takeaway that shines even in the late night hour.

"Really, very good.

Ordered late on a Sunday, still arrived within 30 mins. Although I only just cleared the minimum order price, still included 4 fresh, crispy poppadums, a tray of fresh salad (no brown lettuce here guys), and a generous tub of all four (mango, yoghurt, red onions, chutney) standard sauces.

My main course of a chicken byriani was also very good - I've sometimes experienced a high level of "whatevers-left-over" when I've ordered just before a takeaway shut, but none of that here.

I've ordered from Kashmiri Spice before via phone and never been disappointed, but this way lets me easily and securely use a card to pay, and removes the need to actually speak to anyone or pay for a phone call. Excellent!"
