Customer Profile - Damita

This week's customer profile is about Damita. For this busy student, finding the motivation to hit the books can be tough. But she's figured out the best way to cope with a big workload (and limited culinary experience) -- ordering in! That could mean a fresh and cheesy Hawaiian pizza, or some deliciously crispy spring rolls, or a steaming bowl of oh-so-flavourful hot and sour soup...

Describe yourself in eight words or less.

student, young, ambitious, busy, neurotic, sarcastic, loving

How did you discover hungryhouse?

I think I googled 'pizza delivery london' or something.

When do you usually order at hungryhouse?

At home, alone, when I'm too tired / can't be bothered to cook or when my boyfriend comes to visit me in London. Usually though it's when I have a huge amount of studying and work to do and can't face it without having something to munch on.

What's your favourite thing about ordering online at hungryhouse?

The fact that all the restaurants in the area are listed on one site so you don't have to bother using Google and working your way through every restaurant website that shows up when you type in 'Pizza'. Instead you can just browse through restaurants that deliver pizza on hungryhouse, choose the one you like best (or in my case usually the cheapest) and order.

What makes a great takeaway experience?

Quick delivery and getting the food you actually asked for when it's still hot (e.g. when I type 'NO SEAFOOD' into the extra comments section and I get the food and there's shrimps swimming in my soup, that's not too ideal).

It's your last meal and you're ordering online at hungryhouse... what do you order? From where?

That's really hard since I am extremely obsessed with food and eating and I love basically every kind of food. If I could I would probably eat constantly but then I wouldn't end up looking very nice, unfortunately.

But I guess I'd order a large pineapple & ham pizza from Ultimate Pizza, along with spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style and 3 portions of hot and sour soup from Hing Dragon.

I'd probably only be able to eat half the pizza though, if that, so I'd have to freeze the rest for when I've died and come back as a zombie or something.

What is the strangest place you've ever eaten a takeaway?

Home. (Wow, that makes me sound kind of boring...)

What non-food items do you wish were available for delivery on hungryhouse?

Diet pills and laxatives for after the meal, when usually what goes through my head is 'oh my god I can't believe I just ate all that'.

No, seriously though.... maybe books or magazines or something. I like reading while I eat. But honestly, I think non-food items wouldn't sell that well on a food delivery website.

If you opened your own takeaway restaurant, what would you call it and what kind of food would you serve? What would your signature dish be?

I would call it 'Frozen Stuff' and my signature dish would be anything you can rip open and heat up in the microwave in less than 10 minutes, because that's basically as far as my cooking skills go.

Anything else we should know about you?

I really, really, really want to win the review of the week prize at some point!!

25 pounds of free takeaway food would be like having Christmas come early for me, honestly!!

Pretty please? :) :) :) :) :)
