Extraordinarily special

How did you discover hungryhouse?

Well, it was due to being ill and not being able to venture out, due to having Chicken Pox. I searched around on the web and found this service available.

When do you usually order at hungryhouse?

I'm single, and order from hungryhouse when I want to take a leisure break from cooking for myself.

What's your favourite thing about ordering online at hungryhouse?

Ease of use really, and for individuals who have just gotten onto the ladder of using a computer and navigating the world wide web, they would find the hungryhouse site very pleasant to use. More so with the new website revamp.

What makes a great takeaway experience?

Eating with others, enjoying activities all benefit from. Games, book groups, movie nights, football matches, or even time with omnibus soap operas!

It's your last meal and you're ordering online at hungryhouse... what do you order? From where?

My last meal, hmm, fascinating - Why limit myself to one sitting and outlet for my last meal? ha.

What is the strangest place you've ever eaten a takeaway?

At the time, it was in a middle of nowhere park. My friend and I had departed a party in the early hours and public transport ceased running at that time. We walked for ages, from what little money we had between us we got some food from a place and ate in the park. Shortly we both fell asleep. I awoke to the sight of a fox and sunrise, it was quite a unique view. To this day I don't know where it was.

What non-food items do you wish were available for delivery on hungryhouse?

Non-food items.. (raises an eyebrow) hmm.. I've never had a moment yet where I've expected or contemplated anything than food to order from hungryhouse. I guess it depends on whether someone is doing a large party / bulk order of food and probably would need plastic cups, throw away knifes, folks, spoons, plates etc. Yet that would be a specific outlet issue whether they would have those items?

If you opened your own takeaway restaurant, what would you call it and what kind of food would you serve? What would your signature dish be?

Hmm.. with that question, I'd probably follow the hungryhouse virtual model but make it physical. Have one site with various restaurants housed within it, with special window views with miniature gardens and water features. An area for firework shows / displays, themed spaces inside which have information related to countries of origin for food styles / types, keeping children entertained if they start to get restless, Screen presentations mix of video and text for them to see, if it is a family meal out for example.

If you could change or improve any one thing about hungryhouse, what would it be?

Could have staff profiles - I don't know how big the support team is and whether individuals are designated specific geographical areas etc. Just would enhance the feelng that there are people behind the scenes working towards keeping hungryhouse a pleasant experience for all who utilise the service.
