Food was delivered cold - very disappointing.

Fantastic. Will be a regular. Whitebait was hot, crisp and delicious. The rice was moist and fluffy and not stuck together - amazing! The chicken dish was moist and the whole meal was a delight. Also seemed to be less oily and fatty than usual Indian fare. Well done.

Superb food - easily the best quality Indian establishment I've come across in Richmond! The chicken was succulent, the paneer soft and tender, the chickpeas spicy and flavourful - even the rice and naan bread were excellent.

The delivery could have been a bit quicker, but then I did order at 20:00 on a Friday evening...

Wonderful meal as always. The lentil dishes are amazing. The chicken was sublime. I'm so glad I found Origin Asia. If you want a takeway indian meal, very highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent. The best Indian takeaway I've ever had. The quality is remarkable. I don't think you could get a better takeaway Indian meal in London. Both the meat and vegetarian meals were amazing. I'll certainly be ordering from Origin Asia again.

I requested 4 dishes to be delivered between 2020 and 2030. The delivery arrived at 1950 - far too early. When I opened the bag I found out that the main dish contained a lot of squid (not in the product description on the web site) and that they had sent me two of one vegetable dish and forgotten the other. I rang them directly and made all of these points. To be fair they delivered the missing vegetable dish (25 minutes later) and said that I would receive a free dish next time I ordered. But overall my dining experience was spoiled.

Dissapointed with our latest order the food wasn't to the high standard that we've come to expect from origin asia. The murgh shekhapura was watery and the vegetable curry was bland. it's as shame as all previous orders have been excellent.

 

Despite the excellent reviews, the food was very disappointing.

The vegetable korma was unappetisingly grey and stodgy had no coconut flavour. It also contained mushrooms even though we explicitly included a special request for no mushrooms.

The murgh biryani was dry and unaccompanied by the traditional vegetable curry side-dish that normally comes with a biryani. It also contained chicken in enormous pieces, meaning there were probably only four pieces of chicken in the whole dish.

The garlic naan was cold and tasted mainly of burnt garlic - in fact all the food was at best lukewarm yet we only live maybe 10 minutes drive away from the restaurant.

The food also arrived five minutes AFTER the latest given delivery time.

I genuinely can't understand why this restaurant has such good reviews. Some effort seemed to have been taken to make the food 'fancy' or 'modern' but it just hadn't succeeded at all. Perhaps dining there is a different experience to ordering takeaway. I doubt we shall be ordering from here again.

Enjoyed the flavours, although some of the dishes were a bit soupy...
