the food tonight was simply amazing! I asked for less onions and a sweeter peshwari and boy did i get it! the jalfrezi was deliciously hot with tender chicken. The meal arrived on time despite me messing it up on here and having to call to give them the right time, We are really impressed with this Papadoms, the food is always yummy and is excellent value for money compared to some restaurants. The food is always delivered by a really nice guy who is always pleasant and polite - we feel we have got to know him since we have ordered so often lol.
Thanks guys keep up the great service! R, B67

Me and my partner found Hungry house on Google and saw this restaurant and read the reviews however we have had some bad experience with delivery of foods and normally eat out but we decided we will give it ago and after reading the reviews we thought well this sounds good.
Our food arrived quickly and the gentlemen who delivered our food was really friendly. Our order was cheap and great value for money.. Then we tucked into our meal and its was absolutely delicious I had never tried butter chicken before so I thought I will give it a try cause I don’t really like spice food it was so nice even when I was full up I carried on eating because I couldn’t waste it My partner had the Vindaloo and he said it was one of the best he has had before. We also had chips and fries and naans absolutely made my night really really would recommend value for money and delicious food. Thank you Clare & Ant Clare, B65

This is the first takeaway I've ordered since moving to Birmingham so wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The delivery was quick and friendly, the food arrived warm and was very tasty - really enjoyed the Tandoori Murghi Maslala which was a new dish for me, and crucially came with plenty of meat. To top it off, value for money seemed very good so I will be using Papadoms again - thanks for a great meal.

I ordered from Papadoms approx on a Saturday evening. Having had a long day at work I needed a takeaway treat. Having ordered from Papadoms before I had an idea of what to expect therefore I choose them.
Speed; The order took about 55 mins to arrive. On a Saturday evening this length of time is normal in my opinion. The restaurant did deliver within its stated time banding. Service; When I telephoned the restaurant to find out where my order was there was some slight confusion but the helpful gentlemen gave me a call back to inform me the order had been dispatched and he was right.... while I was on the phone the driver rung the bell! The driver bought the order to my order no problem and was well dressed and polite. He even smiled! (Yes a delivery driver smiled!!!) Quality; The food was hot, the rice as before was excellent. The naan bread was fresh and very tasty, the potatoes very fresh and delicious. The curry was generous on good quality meat although seemed a bit too greasy. Overall very tasty hot food! Overall This experience did very much meet my expectation although it didn't exceed it. The food was good and the service first class for a Saturday. Price wise this restaurant is competitively priced, and good value. I will order from them again Jon, B17

Hardly any meat in the curry and they put the paratha I ordered in a plastic bag so that it was soggy and heavy.

Looks like we've found good and reliable indian takeaway at last with excellent prices too. Driver arrived on time, was most polite and smartly dressed. Well done - you will be feeding the entire family at the weekend and in the future

Having moved from Selly Oak to the city centre (B1) we originally morned our old Indian regular, and were not satisfied with the more expensive, but inferior, take-aways we tried. That problem has been solved. Don't be fooled by the low prices, Papadoms is much better quality than its higher priced competitors! The food is lovely, they deliver way within the given time frame, and the guy even remembered us from our first order. From now on we will always be ordering from Papadoms.

All I can say is excellent, food was great, hot and very tasty. Service was fast even though I ordered quite close to the closing time, value for money as the currys are at competitive prices. Will definitely try eating in too in the future. The food was very very nice. Certainly recommend to others

Some of the items I ordered were not delivered (no refund was offered when I rang the restaurant) and the items that were delivered were not of a good standard (apart from the free popadom funnily enough!). The lamb tikka was salty, the chicken pakora had a disgusting very thick sweet tasting batter and the north indian chicken tikka garlic chilly was extremely oily and ended up in the bin. I shall not be ordering from Papadoms again.

I ordered my food mid-week expecting a speedy service and Papadoms did not disappoint. The food was delivered directly to my front door within 30 minutes by a smartly dressed driver who THANKED me for me order. In this day an age to receive an thanks from the driver (who I am guessing was a waiter/manager) was excellent! The food was still hot and there was plenty of dressing for my onion bhaji. I ordered the Chicken Tikka karahi, Pilau Rice and bombay aloo. The main dish was very good, with excellent quality meat. My only criticism (In fact my only one of the whole order) was this dish was not seasoned correctly and the sauce not dry enough for a Karahi which should be a dryer dish. The Bombay aloo was superb with beautifully fresh potatoes and the rice was fantastic, hot, and not greasy. I will defiantly order from Papadoms again, although next time I would probably ask for them to make my main cause slightly dryer

Decent and reasonably priced meal. Sheekh Kebab and Chicken tikka starters were perfectly cooked and nicely spiced. The chicken tikka Rogan josh main seemed to be quite oily and this had to be poured off. The dish itself was spiced ok and there was plenty of chicken. Garlic fried rice was perfectly cooked. Was also pleased to get a free poppadom with dips and fresh salad.
