i was expecting way better quality food than what i received. my food was cold i had to microwave it, the samosas were oily and the curry wasnt great, the box was filled with sauce with only a few pieces of chicken.

What a disappointment … I you like late, cold and tasteless food this is the place for you!
I was really looking forward to this indian after a hard day at work, however, the food took a massive hour and thirty minutes to arrive (30 mins after the allocated time)! - I wouldn't have minded so much but when the food arrived it was cold and the delivery man was rude and didn't even offer an explanation to the lateness let alone an apology! For starter I had Chingri crunch which was terrible and really soagy, this was because they made the mistake of laying it on a bed of lettuce which wilted due to the heat, this was a huge waste as I could not eat it :( . The next disaster was the popadoms which like the starter had no crunch, it was as if they were off, at 50p a pop they are not cheap so you would expect them to be spot on or at the least edible! I found this extra funny as the place is called pappadom!! For main course I had King prawn Jaifrezi which was mediocre at best, it didn't really have any flavour and was very oily. The prawns were overcooked, however the portion size was good and I did get quite a lot of prawns for my money! For side order I had garlic naan which was not garlicky at all,- I think they may have given me a plain naan by mistake! I was given a free side for spending over £15 I had the Paneer Lajaweeb which was alright but like the jalfrezi lacked any real flavour. Overall the takeaway was below par, if I was in a restaurant I would have sent it back and refused to pay! My advice is, if you are a curry lover and like hot, quality, tasty food do not order from here! Charlotte, SE1

Ordered Tariq's feast for one, plenty of food for the two of us! The saag aloo was great, much hotter than from other takeaways. Slightly smaller portion than usual though! Lamb rogan josh was pleasantly spiced and spicy, big chunks of juicy tomato and tender lamb. Best bhajis in London. Food arrived in the middle of the time slot, delivery man was friendly. Another great experience, miles better than any other Indian takeaway I've had in the UK.

I placed my order at 8pm and it arrived just before 10pm. It took them 15 minutes to accept the order and then 1 hour 45 to deliver. They said they were extremely busy, but this is just not acceptable.
When the order was delivered he couldn't find my place and so I had to walk outside to find him and take the food off of him. I cannot understand how orders are struggling to get to me from the takeaway as I leave very clear instructions of where my flat is...what is the point of having these instructions if no one pays attention to them?? Very, very annoyed tonight!! Natalie, SE16

Absolutely the worst takeaway curry I have ever had. Delivery took over an hour and when it arrived the food was greasy and very bland. A chicken jalfrezi had enormous lumps of under-cooked onion and an odd stale taste. Poppadums were bendy. Onion bhaji was dripping oil and had a very odd, grainy texture. The only passable part of the meal was the naan bread. 90% of this order went in the bin. Shockingly bad.
