Wonderful great tasting pizzas, but over 1 hour and a half from order to delivery! The pizzas were at least still warm when they arrived, but will make sure that we are not in a hurry if we order again from Piccante.

Picante are usually good but this pizza arrived cold and unsliced when I had requested sliced and expected warm. And Chelsea lost to Liverpool. One of the worst days of my otherwise pampered life.

This is probably the best pizza takeaway pizza I have had. Authentic thin crust base, definitely fresh and good quality real ingredients, unlike a lot of the late night pizza places in the area. My only gripe is that the pizza was only lukewarm when it arrived. It's the second time I've ordered and both times its needed a reheat in the oven for 5 mins. The box it comes in is quite flimsy and probably lets a lot of the heat out. Other than that it's good. Will be ordering again.

Late, cold...never again

I have an unhealthily addiction to Piccante's 16" diavola pizza. it is simply awesome. If a had it my own way, I'd be eating it for breakfast, lunch & dinner... but I don't think my girlfriend would approve of my expanding pizza belly.

Closest thing I've found to actual Italian style pizza so far; I think I'm a little bit in love with the chef now! The focaccia all aglio is really awesome value for money too... It's huge!

I can't hide it any longer! I'm guilty! I'm guilty of being one of those people who orders loads from a restaurant and, because the food's great, never leaves a review. Guilty of being the person that only reviews when the experience is bad. Well, I'm turning over a new leaf starting now! I have ordered from Piccante many times now and have, without fail, received excellent food and service every time. My kids are big fans of the 8" 'Bambino' as they get to have their own pizza (It makes it a bit more special than sharing) at a price I can afford. My wife and I, whilst madly in love, will never (I repeat, never!) agree on what to have on a pizza so the 16" half and half is a godsend! Always fresh and piping hot, it's fair to say the pizzas rock! That brings me to the sides. We've tried a lot in our time! The calamari's tasty, not chewy. The bruschetta is fresh baked and has a nice range of toppings, the 'focaccia al aglio' is thin, crispy, packed with flavour (and best with mozzarella) and the potato wedges are 'crispy but lovely and fluffy in the middle' (According to my wife). I hope I've done enough to convince you to try Piccante (They've certainly done enough to convince me there's nowhere better for pizza!). Well, that's enough from me. The rest is up to you. Enjoy!

Very nice pizza, the base was crisp and the toppings fresh, however I paid an extra couple of pounds for porcini mushroom of which there were only 4 small slices on the entire 13" pizza! The pizza also was also unfortunately fairly cold when it arrived. I would still order from Piccante again, just not add toppings.
