Pizza turned up 1 hour after ordering and was burnt and flavourless. This is not authentic Italian pizza- what they call thin crust is more like deep pan and the pizza dough was chewy, tough and burnt. Overall the pizza is cheap but not worth the saving!

I was slightly concerned with the idea of a delivery Italian, but decided to give it a go as the prices were very reasonable. I was blown away by the quality and the taste of the food. I ordered two pasta dishes, starters and dessert and all were excellent. The desserts were full restaurant portion sizes for an excellent price. I would have no fears about ordering again from Picco Bello or recommending them to anyone.

This was my first order at Picco Bello and I was impressed. The Madagascar fillet sounded lovely, however almost immediately after order placement, they called to advise that unfortunately this was no longer available on the menu. They offered the sirloin as an alternative and this didn't disappoint. It was cooked perfectly as requested. The sauce was lovely, creamy and rich and the sautéed potatoes, crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The tortellini a la panna was very tasty. A large portion of fresh pasta stuffed to the brim in a lovely rich and creamy sauce. The garlic bread was slightly soggy although still tasted really good and the only downside of the mozzarella sticks were that they were slightly dry. We would have loved them with a dip however could not see any on the menu. The food arrived within the hour and was still hot. We thought the complimentary salad was a nice touch and they brought the excess money to the door for the difference between the fillet and sirloin. All in all we really enjoyed the restaurant type food delivered to our door and will be ordering again.

Thought i'd try and experiment away from the usual high quality Dominos and venture out to one of Reading's local businesses. In hindsight a poor decision. Ordered a pizza & side to the value of £10 (which was the minimum delivery limit) to be phoned and told the minimum was £15 but because this was my first order they would deliver. Fair enough. Being an italian food company i assumed, as there was no option, that this would be a nice italian style thin crust pizza. Pizza arrived in reasonable time, was greasy, slices not cut properly with half the topping falling off and cheesy garlic bread tasted like it had been deep fried. Serves me right for going with a cheap pizza - will stick to the big guns from now often

Hi David, I'm so sorry to hear about the poor experience you had with your order. I just wanted to assure you that our team has been in close contact with the team at Picco Bello to ensure that we have the correct delivery zones and charges listed online and to discuss the importance of preparing every order to the highest possible quality standards and never charging customers more than the agreed upon price.
