Chicken Tikka Masala was oily and nothing special. It tasted like ordinary chicken not chicken tikka so was a bit disappointed. Onion Bhajis were ok. Overall could of been better and more authentic.

Ordered lamb korma, they delivered chicken. The raita described as with cucumber and onion was nothing but plain unflavoured yoghurt, no sign of any cucumber or onion. Really really disappointing.

Overall would give 6.5 out of 10.
This was an advance order (placed one and a half hours prior), but arrived nearly 10 mins late - however, for me this was no big deal and did not affect my rating. Chicken shaslik was good. Tasty tender chicken with fresh grilled pepers, tomatoes and onion completely filling the container. One of the best I've ever had. King prawn rezala (a premium dish) disappointed greatly: The king prawns were 'butterflied' (ie split) rather than served whole. As customers know, 'butterfly prawns' appear as starters on many curry house menus!!! Sauce was not great. Nan was on the small side (about half the size of what you could buy at the supermarket). But was tasty. The matter that annoyed me the most was that I ordered plain basmati rice but received patna rice. I felt somewhat deceived. Patna is cheaper (about one quarter of the price of basmati) and is no comparison in terms of texture, fragrance or taste. This practice happens quite a lot in the industry. Why doesn't Pimlico Spice just include Patna on the menu as well and let customers decide which type they want/are prepared to pay for? If Pimlico Spice addressed these points I would happily give them an 8 or 9 out of 10 - I sense they are capable of it. B, SW1W
