I ordered a few sides (no pizza) and the wedges and chicken were burnt, when I phoned and asked for a refund on only the wedges - he refused. He said I could have a new batch of wedges. I said I didn't want anything more from them which is how a normal person would feel - why would I want more burnt food? He said a refund is not possible. I am disgusted by the customer service and have pics of the burnt food if you would like to see, twitter: AprilSeema

The cake and pizza were good, and the mozzarella cheese sticks were tasty, but the chicken dippers were not really edible - overly processed and tasted funny. The service was slow and the delivery driver rang me up asking why I wasn't outside waiting for my order when he went to the wrong place!

Pizza was 90 mins from time of order confirmation. The number provided went in answered both times I tried to chase my order. Obviously pizza was cold and driver unable to explain or apologise. Try somewhere else.

Pizza wasn't too bad, but the lasagne was inedible. The 'potato twists'/chips were flavored with curry which we didn't know, and arrived pretty soggy, which I guess can happen with delivery. Salad was fine, came with no dressing. Won't order again, not too happy with it.

Despite being a drunken idiot, ordering a pizza and falling asleep - the delivery guy gave me multiple calls - which i didn't hear - and then left the pizza outside in a safe place for me - thanks delivery guy!

This was the worst takeaway experience of my entire life. We chose Pizza Monster because it was the cheapest we could find and being students price is usually the deciding factor. The meal took forever to arrive and when it did it was the wrong pizza and bottle of drink. The delivery man bought the correct drink from a local shop and we called Pizza Monster to explain our pizza was incorrect. They agreed to send another 1 after a 10minute telephone debate. An HOUR LATER we were still waiting and when calling Pizza Monster to chase they were really rude and hung up on us. Eventually the delivery man came but wouldn't give us the Pizza without payment!! After attempting to explain the situation to him he said he needed to call his boss, and ran away never to be seen again and upon calling Pizza Monster I was met by the poorest customer service I've ever experienced, he said hed CCTV'd my pizza and I was lying that it was the wrong order! At this point (21\2 hrs after my order) I gave up feeling completely robbed, DO NOT EAT FROM PIZZA MONSTER worst takeaway experience of my life!!!

Response from restaurant: We at Pizza monster apologize for the experiece you had that evening, but there are a few missed points in this review: First of all, this order, WAS delivered before the estimated time given to you by hungryhouse. It also had the correct toppings and sauce base requested in the special requests field. There was even a request for extra bacon, which we put on the pizza for free. Normally, extra toppings cost .90p. Admittedly, the drink provided was wrong, but we did our best to replace it with the correct one.
We also tried our best to satisfy this customers complaint about the pizza by agreeing to send another one as soon as we could. Which we did, but when we delivered it (albeit a bit late) and asked for the incorrect pizza back, we were informed by the customer that she fed it to her dog. So, there was never a disagreement about payment, the disagreement occured when we asked for the first pizza back.
Basically, we did what we could that night and do apologize if the order and subsequent scramble to replace and fix any mistakes fell short of your expectations. But there are aspects of this review that are just untrue.

Being a hard-up student, despite many people views, Takeaway pizza is not a common meal for me, but instead a luxury once in a while. This meal however took ages to arrive, the pizza was extremely greasy, and soggy, not hot and crispy as you would want your pizza. I suspect this pizza had been microwaved. The delivery driver didn't say thankyou or greet me, he simply asked 'you paid'?
I was left feeling rather robbed by this meal. If it wasn't for the great groupon/hungry house discount, then i would have felt very ripped off. I think the delivery charge of a pound and card charge also were outrageous, when we live less than a mile from the restaurant. Sam, SW15

I ordered a thin crust and was delivered a deep pan. Delivery guy forgot to give me the garlic bread and came back with it 30 mins later cold. To be fair, he did offer to get me a fresh garlic bread but by that time I had already consumed my meal and just didnt bother.

I got a thin crust pizza with pepperoni with mushrooms, which was very tasty, but did not remotely resemble the deep pan vegetarian pizza I actually ordered. Oops.
