We ordered a Chef's Special Set Meal for 2, expecting chicken jalfrezi and moghul chicken, but received what I think was a tikka masala, a pasanda and something with prawns in (possibly the thali set meal? Was there another customer somewhere who got our set meal?). Admittedly we didn't complain at the time, and after waiting an hour and a quarter for food and feeling pretty ravenous we ate it all anyway... The food was tasty, but unfortunately this type of mistake will probably make us this twice about ordering from this restaurant again.

Food arrived 1.5 Hours after stated delivery time (that is the time at the end of the period given), cold and with the wrong main (a meat dish as opposed to the vegetarian choice made)

I realise 24 hours later that they forgot to bring the vegetable samosa I ordered, although I'd ordered enough that I didn't miss it at the time! So that was a shame, but all the food I had was lovely and very tasty, plus they added a christmas present of some turkish delights, so I won't complain! Will almost certainly order from them again.

food delivered was cold, onion bhajee's was burnt, vindaloo was not hot with poor black bits in my chicken and madrass was bland, will not be ordering from here again no matter how many free popadoms or salads we receive, altho lemon rice was nice,

All my orders were pretty tasteless, especially the Biryani. When I first started ordering from Western Balti, it wasn't like that. It was flavourful. I do think the quality has gone done a little.

We were really pleased. Delivery was swift and person bringing our order very polite. Portion size was generous. The food was very well spiced, not bland although perhaps slightly greasy compared to some indian restaurants due to the use of a lot of gee (but no more than other take aways). Overwall we were pleased and it was what we hoped it was from the menu and as good as any take away we have used. The meal came with 4 free poppadoms. Would order again for sure.
