This was our second order from Saffron and the food was good but it's not likely that we'll use this restaurant again.
One of the best things about hungryhouse.co.uk is the convenience of it all but since Saffron ignores details of your order it's all pointless. For both of our orders we specified a set delivery time but on both occasions Saffron did an ASAP delivery instead arriving with the food 45 minutes before we wanted it. Luckily we were at home so we could tell them to come back at the set time but sometimes I order food on the way home from work and they would they obviously try to deliver to an empty house.

I don't mind them getting it wrong once but since they did twice (and I even added extra instructions on my second order stating that the delivery time is important) we will stop using this restaurant. Which is to bad really because the food is quite alright I think.

The delivery time was reasonable. The curry could have had more sauce as it was a bit congealed. the rce was ok - average not good. the acoompaniments were poor and the pappadoms arrived in absolute pieces - not just broken but like shattered glass !

The food was divine and great portions as well. When they delivered the food there was a portion of pilau rice missing. I phoned to complain and they had a new portion at my door within five minutes. Things always go wrong but it is good to see a company respond so quickly to an error. If that hadn't happened, I would have give an excellent rating for service.

The food arrived quickly and it was hot. I had a prawn puri to start which was lovely. Lots of reasonably sized juicy prawns. The chicken dish was lovely and spicy with plenty of meat. It was a really good meal.

Loved creamy king prawns! We were very pleased to order takeaway from the Saffron! Right Choice!

Parathas were soggy and didn't taste like ones...food overall was ok...just not worth the price paid...
