It was cold when got here, had the non veggie thali special (saturday night only) @£12.95 which said was 5 x veggie and 2 x non veggie currys plus condiments and pickes for £12.95 or £13.00, why not make it £13, oh yeah, con us in to thinking it is better value, well it is not!"!! the veggie and non veggie were just a couple of mouthfulls in tiny pots and the meat was fatty and cold. 5 tiny pots of a veggie curry and tiny pot of pickle and an enormous carton of boiled rice!! I also ordered 2 parathers which was raw and undercooked, yuk!! Couldnt get any one on the phone to complain with for ages, when I did they could hardly speak English and kept say sorry but had no power to do anything, very frustrating. I got the feeling that the boss was the one doing the delivery! The first meal I had from them was OK and the food was good but the portions were still small, apart from rice, but I think they are short staffed at busy times and the quality goes right down hill! Will not be ordering again which is a shame as there are not many south indian takeaways.

We had a really great delivered order last night. I love the food at Abi's. I've only just discovered it, but have now been back three times in less than a month. I heartily recommend it.

Gorgeous food, swift delivery, and the loveliest, smartest, smiliest delivery man ever. I had to stop myself from hugging him. This place goes on the Reorder List, not just for the awesome food but I want that man to smile at me some more.

Very tasty food. It was a little hotter than we would have liked, but that's our problem. I was impressed and will be using them again.

Really loved the kotthu, biriani, sambal and chettinand but the two dosas were both a bit bland. Everything was also tepid but a quick blast in the microwave sorted that.

My one experience of this restaurant (we won't be going back) was a truly appalling meal delivered stone cold after a wait of one hour and fifty minutes. We paid £40 for several dishes of tasteless brown sludge - honestly that's the best description for it. The Tarka Dhal, Channa Massala, Bhindi Bhaji, and Chilli Fry Mushroom all looked and tasted pretty much the same - of grease and some very strange flavour. Horrible!! The dosa was halfway decent (though cold and soggy because of the wait). Even the "free" popadoms were stale. The potato bondas were oddly even colder than the rest, suggesting they weren't fried properly in the first place. The chutneys supplied were just weird - things I couldn't recognise. I've been eating veggie curry in London for 25 years and without a doubt this is the absolutely the worst I've ever had. It was so bad I asked for my money back (whoever gets around to that?). I was promised a call back from the manager....and I'm still waiting.

At last vegetarian authentic south Indian restaurant in North London. Welcome change from run of the mill Balti houses and every penny's worth too.

Absolutely excellent - fresh and flavourful. The dosas were perfect texture, big sized portion and came with delicious extra chutneys and sauces. Will definitely be ordering again - best Indian food in the Highgate area
