The actual food quality was excellent. The dry green bean and pork was as good as in any dedicated Sichuan restaurant. I ordered the beef shank in spicy sauce and got what I think must be crispy chilli beef instead, which was a shame. Still tasty though. The food here is quite pricy, but I suspect the quality is better than most.

This was such a shame! I read some great reviews about Seventeen, admittedly not on here but how different can delivery be to eating in the restaurant? The food arrived within the allotted time but it was stone cold! Practically frozen! Felt like it had come straight out of the fridge. God knows how long it'd been waiting on the counter or on the back of the bike. If you're going to do delivery then making sure you can get the food to the customer in the state you'd want it served in the restaurant must be rule one.
Very very very disappointed. Will not be ordering again. Nick, NW10
