The delivery was fairly quick, the food was nice yet i would say the chilli chicken was the best, i do not reccommend the chicken tikka curry though, it does depend on the things u order and what you like. The raita was yoghurt andjust cucumbers, not what i was expecting. But the service is good and solely should be based upon the type of food you like. They also gave poppadums and sauces complimentary, all good there.

Food was good, delivery was very fast and the portions were big. I will definitely order from Shahenas again next time we are craving indian food. :)

 

After changing curry houses after viewing 'scores on the doors' for one of our favourites (which scored a shocking 0) was pleased to see this scored 5/5 (there's an app called food hygiene I'd recommend) - just as impressive was the quick and hot food, in plentiful portions and served with a smile. Will definitely use again.

 

 

Delicious!! Especially the tandoori prawn biryani! Will definitely order again from shahena's! We had plenty left for dinner the next day!

Second time we ordered from Shahena's - food was good and tasty, especially the poppadoms. Unfortunately ordered two rice, but only one received with order. Called them and they had the missing rice delivered about 30 minutes after we finished the meal. I guess this is an honest mistake. Will definitely order from them again, as the curry is really tasty - absolutely love the vegetable vindaloo!

We ordered quite a few things to try out a variety for our first time ordering here. The order arrived quickly, was hot and extremely tasty. The onion bhajis were a very generous portion, the special rice was great and the two curries were excellent and we even had enough left for lunch the following day. Price was good, more expensive than our local takeaway but the quality was higher which more than makes up for it. We will certainly be using Shahena's as our go to curry place now, highly recommended!

Meal was delivered within half and hour and was hot and tasty. The rice was fresh and light and not at all greasy. The aloo mushroom bhaji was thick and substantial.
Could've done with more rice and less raita, but that's only a minor niggle.
I'll definitely order again.

Even though, everything was good about the food, they missed out on an item in my order. Not sure, how/what they are planning to do about the missed item.
