Food quite tasty but small portions and greasy. Overpriced for what you get. Did not like the plastic containers. Won't be buying again...

The food is always consistently good from Spicy Hut, I would have no hesitation recommending them as one of the best restaurants and take aways in the area.

Best Indian take away in Manchester, although not everyone seems to agree judging by the other reviews. Onion Bhajis are the best I've had, the mushroom pakoras are rather addictive, the curries are always delicious and taste fresher and healthier than other take ways. I order mixed vegetable curries a lot and many places use cheap tinned veg and often too much unpleasant tasting potato, but the mixed veg at Spicy Hut is fresh and a good variety with courgette, aubergine, cauliflower, peas, carrot and the potato is lovely and a perfect texture. You do pay more for spicy hut than other Indian takeaways but it's a proper restaurant and to me it's more than worth it; you get what you pay for in terms of quality. The service is also top notch with very helpful, friendly staff, and delivery has never once been late.

I thought it only fair to rate again after the latest offering from Spicy Hut was extremely tasty! We ordered a lamb Malta & chicken tikka Rogan Josh, & they were both excellent. After a previous dodgy order I'm glad to say they're back on form. Thanks for a lovely tea!

The ingredients used are good quality, & the service is really efficient - however, we found the taste of the curries we recently ordered was a little bland rather than the usual good blend of spices. The price is also quite high when you take everything in to account. I would like to say that on past occasions we have had very good food, but it does seem to be a little inconsistent. We'll order from here again, & hope for a tastier meal!

Reasonably priced, not as spicy as we normally like, but flavours and well blended. Even nice the following morning! Nom nom nom

All of it was OK - from order to arrival fairly quick, poor chap that was delivering got a bit lost so I think that may have added to the delay. He was incredibly polite thought which was lovely. When the food arrived it was a little cold but flavours overall good. Onion relish could have had a little more flavour &needed to be less glupy - also we could have had more for the order we put in but otherwise OK. Keema rice was lovely as was.
Will order again probably!!! Lorri, M21
