For the prices of all the items we ordered, we were very surprised at the lack of food that arrived. Handful of chips/fries for £2! and the curry would of suited a 4 year old but didn't fill me up what so ever! Reduce your prices or give more for the money! Apart from that the food was good.

As far as I'm concerned Spicy Hut is the best Indian take away that delivers in Manchester. I'm really very good at making curry myself, and to be honest, if I order from anywhere else I can do a lot better myself, so it seems pretty lazy of me to order Indian take away, but Spicy Hut is such high quality, because it's one of the best restaurants in Manchester. So I order from there a lot when I don't have time to make my own, and it never disappoints, and yeah, go on, I'll admit it - they make curry better than I do. They do the best vindaloo I've ever tried. It's the hotter curries where they really excel, so I highly recommend the Vindaloo and Mirchi, and they aren't overpowering just so full of flavour. I also highly recommend the Kashmiri Rice.
I ordered A LOT of food with my hungryhouse anniversary discount and it arrived extremely quickly, surprisingly so. Their delivery service is very efficient and I've never had any problems with late deliveries, but then I don't live far away.
Sure there are cheaper Indian takeaways in the area but you get what you pay for. No cheap tinned veg from here like you usually get. All the ingredients are fresh and it tastes a lot healthier than typical takeaway food. I've tried many other places in the past to save money and gave up bothering, because they just don't compare and I can make better myself. Spicy Hut only from now on.

First time ordering from here, really impressed. They rang on the way to let us know when they'd be here, food was delicious, not oily, good amount of dips with the poppadoms. Had a lamb karahi and beef madras. Will definitely order again.

We've eaten at the Spicy Hut restaurant a few times, and been very happy with the quality of food and pleasant customer service. However I feel the take away service is a little different, we pay restaurant prices for medium to small take away sizes, and the last £40 we spent on a modest amount of food between three felt a little expensive. The portions were small but very tasty. If they could offer a slightly better discount for take away we'd be more than satisfied. Good qualify but small portions, but in a way, I guess that's the exchange you'd expect for tasty food.

One of the worst take-away curries we have ever had. To start with not all of our order was delivered. Half of the curry sauce had spilled out of one of the portions which meant that the naan breads (which were pretty small) were all soggy. When we came to eat, the chicken in the curries was so hard and tough, (it tasted to us like it was either a few days old or had been reheated several times) that we didn't dare even eat it for fear of getting ill. On top of all of that everything was stone cold and had to be reheated in the microwave. We paid £20 for the pleasure of this experience, we will never ever order food from this restaurant again.
