NOT a good experience. Food was supposed to be delivered by 2:30am. I phoned at 2:10am to confirm delivery time and was told it would be there in 20mins. I finally got a phone call at 2:57am saying they couldn't find my address, even though they have delivered here before. I was told they were walking around for HALF AN HOUR, even though the food was still hot... Not happy.

Excellent quality, delivered quickly. Only downside the rice is quite pricey. Otherwise plentiful and delicious.

The food was good but when we got the kebab the meat and salad was not but in the pitta bread but was Kaye's on top of the pitta bread

After reading the rules on reviews on this website I only have the following to say:
Delivery took 2 HOURS! Food tasted mainly of salt. Very disappointed in a takeaway I have used semi-regularly for over 10 years. Mark, RG1

Wonderful Jalfrezi and lovely fluffy rice. The only slight niggle was that the lamb tikka side dish was a bit dry and tough.

Wonderful hot food as usual and arrived very quickly! The Chicken Korma was fantastic and creamy and the rice was perfect as usual. Was very surprised by the generously large Naan breads - Definitely recommend!

I ordered from Star yesterday. Made special requests for my order, both on the actual order and at the end as well. Same request made TWICE and they still got it wrong. When I phoned Star about it a member of staff actually HUNG UP ON ME!!!! When I phoned back and spoke to the manager I was told it's actually hungryhouse's fault Star can NEVER get the order right. I don't know who is responsible, but I do know it's terrible service.

I'm going to be honest. I never usually order pizza from here but wanted to give it a go. They delivered it on time, the guy was really nice. But the pizza wasn't great. It didn't taste of pizza. It was more like cheese on bread, as the sauce was just there to provide a bit of moisture. I got a 'beef' one which had what appeared to be token gestures of mincemeat on the pizza. I also had a pepperoni pizza which had about 6 slices of pepperoni on it.
I'm glad I ordered it, because its one of those things where you were like 'ahh thats why i dont get pizza from this place' moments. Faisal, RG4

Everything was great as usual, except for the fast that I ordered and paid for a large rice, and got a small instead. Other than that - I can't complain!
