Order arrived just within time predicted. Wrong rice but was notified by phone before delivery, butterfly prawn starter very poor (dry and thin could been anything under the orange breadcrumb) but all mains and duck were very good.

Food was great but took a while to arrive. We use this takeaway regularly and food is usually good although delivery is almost always at the far end of the time slot given on-line (or even 10-15 mins late). But this is only complaint and we keep ordering so can't be that bad!!

Order took an hour and a half to arrive, even though it was only 7.30pm on a normal Tuesday. Driver was surly and unapologetic.
Fortunately, when I called after an hour to chase the order, the shop was apologetic and gave us a discount, and the food was really tasty and still fairly warm when it eventually arrived. I would order again. Anthony, RG1

Our order arrived quite quickly and it was correct. The food was fine, but generally unexciting. The egg fried rice was bland, and the mini-spring rolls were mass-produced and tasteless. Shredded beef with chilli was disappointing. Nothing was bad or inedible, but nothing really made me want to go back for more. The biggest surprise was the malaysian chicken curry, which was really quite spicy. I'm surprised that such a spicy dish was included in the set menu, when it most certainly won't suit all tastes - I quite liked it, but many would think it was too hot.

I arrived home exhausted from football with only one thing on my mind, food! Specifically a tasty oriental curry and I needed it quickly! When I saw the menu at Sterling Wok my eyes floated towards the Sweet and Sour section and I could not stop my hand from clicking add! Then the rice. Now I had my order complete, I just had to sit and wait.
Sterling Wok did not disappoint. No sooner had my bottom hit the sofa when, the food arrived in what seemed like just a few minutes. After rushing to the kitchen and plating up I sat down in front of the TV, fork in hand, ready to indulge. The Malaysian Satay Beef curry was delicious. It was nutty, not too sweet, with a good kick of chilli. The Mixed Sweet and Sour balls were juicy with a nice thick batter and a sticky hot sauce. The two main dishes were brought together with a generous helping of Chicken fried rice. Need I say more... Mission Complete! Thanks Sterling Wok for a Sterling meal! Simon, RG30

Meal arrived hot, taking just 30 minutes to arrive on a Saturday evening. Along with the meal were free chopsticks, jasmine teabags and complimentary bag of prawn crackers.
Oriental Udon Noodles - HIT Thick noodles with mixed vegetables in a large metal container. A alternative noodle dish to Chow Mein or Singapore with thicker noodles. Japanese Udon noodles can be eaten in a soup variation though not usual available from takeaways. Large Chow Mein - HIT Noodles were slightly thinner than your usual chow mein but nevertheless tasty all the same with plenty of mushroom, beansprouts and onions. Not too greasy, ideal as an additional dish. Szechuan Chilli Tofu - HIT Fried tofu with vegetables in a spicy Szechuan sauce in a plastic microwaveable container. Plenty of vegetables including carrots, onions, etc but not as spicy as their Black bean variation. Crispy Chicken, Chilli and Salt Box Meal - HIT Wanted to see what these all-on-one meal was like which arrived in large metal tin. 3/4 of the tin was filled with steam rice and the 1/4 with what I would describe was mini chicken balls in batter like the ones you get with Sweet & Sour Chicken balls, on a bed of sliced vegetables. There's no type of sauce with this dish so some might find this a bit dry if eaten on it's own. I would recommend that the box meals are ideal for lunch meal. Great dishes from Sterling Wok yet again, recommended Chinese takeaway for home delivery. Jf, RG30

Thought it was a risk ordering a Malaysian dish, but it paid off. Absolutely divine. Thanks!
