A great find! Tucked away in deepest, darkest Birkenhead, it is easy to see how regular customers would be keen to keep this place a secret. Great menu selection with plenty of veggie options and flexibility, freebie bombay potatoes with our £21 meal, lean and tender cuts of meat, and good depth to the flavour. For traditionalists, the authenticity is lost with many dishes that appeal to western tastes for the rich, sweet, not too spicy and sometimes creamy... Mhh. I'm obviously not a traditionalist. The only downside was our delivery slot was rescheduled half an hour later. I guess they are busy, so shhh!

Great service, amazing food as ever from the Sultan Tandoori! Keep trying new dishes and the food is always stunning, hot and delicious! One of the best in the Wirral I have to say and highly recommended! Thank you.

We have ordered from here loads of times and to be fair we have never had a problem before, but on this occasion me and my 2 year old son ended up with food poisoning from, I suspect, under cooked chicken in our Chicken Tikka Massala, so unfortunately I was unable to notice the colour of the chicken. My fiance had the lamb and he said his food was lovely, and he hasn't been ill.
Although I'm sure this was a one off, I would be very reluctant to order from them again. I would be interested to hear from the Sultan tandoori regarding this matter. Despite this, their service is usually top notch, and delivery quick, even on busy weekends. It's just a shame my 2 year old and I ended up so sick. :( Khaleed, CH44

Not happy at all. It'll be a while before I order from the Sultan Tandoori again !
This was the second time they'd missed something from my order and had to come back. I wouldn't mind if I had ordered about 12 items. Sorry guys - you've blown it now. Allyson, CH43
