Late, and with a free piss poor bottle of Kingfisher beer instead of wine.

I wrote a few weeks back that my experience with Takari and especially the food had been bad, since then I've continued to use them and the quality of the food has gone back up to its usual level, unfortunately they seem to be trying to cut corners with the containers they use. The lids are VERY flimsy and for the past two weeks they've been crushed to the point where food has spilled out over the rest of the contents in the bag. Also, this past order contained two naan breads, one plain, one garlic, yet both of them were shoved into one PLASTIC BAG. Hardly what I'd call hygienic, and what if someone had an aversion to garlic? This is beyond shoddy, and if Takari keep cutting corners like this while charging the same price, I won't be using them again.

I ordered 3 vegetable Dansaks along with rice, chicken tikka and sundries this evening via the hungry house website. As we spent over £20 we qualified for a free red wine.

We used to order from Takari a lot however we hadn't ordered for some time. We received a number of letter with fliers in the post so thought we'd order from Takari this evening. We had what we usually had which was the Dansak.

We were all really disappointed as the Dansak was extremely spicy (which is not what a dansak is usually). I've had all types of curry before and am used to hot dishes however the Dansak we had this evening was unbareably hot.You must have changed the receipe since we last had it as it was never that spicy. A dansak as you say on your website is "cooked with lentils to create a hint of sweet and sour flavour". We couldn't even taste the flavours as our mouths were burning. We had to drink lots of milk and diet coke and mix in a lot of plain youghurt and tomato soup to actually eat it ... which defeats the purpose of ordering a well cooked curry. We even had to throw some of the Dansak away as it was too hot to eat. Almost an hour later our mouths are still tingling, our lips are very red and we feel nautious . This is not what we expected when we ordered a Dansak as I've never ever had a Dansak that tasted that bad.

It was spicy and burning ... it tasted like someone had tipped in a whole jar of pepper and chillies.

The chicken was as we remembered.

Also, the website says that if you spend over 20 pounds you receive a bottle of wine. It may be worth noting that it's low alcohol wine at 7.5% ... most wines are about 12 or 13 %

I'm really saddened that the food was so bad as it used to be far far tastier and actually edible. A dansak should never be that hot .. it's either a changed receipe or a mistake made in the making of 3 Dansaks. Really bad.

We'll not be ordering from you again so please do not send us any more of your letters or fliers.

I've used Takari many times before and have always been very pleased with the service, tonight they have really let me down.

Firstly, I ordered a chicken tikka masala but a chilli chicken masala was ordered, a totally different dish, secondly everything else ordered was of a VERY poor quality, 5 pieces of chicken with the chicken shashlik, random pieces of chilli put into the chicken tikka biriyani.

Terrible, maybe they've got a new chef? I don't know, but it's making me think twice about ordering from them again.

Although it is on the more expensive side of cheapish takeway, I really really enojyed the quality of the meal. Deffinitely worth the money! I am a conoisseur of Indian Food and I was very very happily surprised with my vegetarian meal choice. Simply delicious!

The smell, fragrance & most importantly taste was very good. Overall great food, at a reasonable price, quick delivery!
