Much of the food was cold, none of it tasted very good, and was expecting free bottle of wine, as advertised when ordering - this did not arrive

Having read the glowing reviews I placed my first order with Tariq Manzil's and waited eagerly. I was so disappointed.

The order was late arriving, albeit with a muttered apology from the driver. The food was lukewarm. I received a different type of naan bread to that which I had ordered. The rest of the food tasted okay once I'd microwaved it but certainly nothing to get excited about. I've tasted much better from other local takeaways. To say this was a bitter disappointment would be an understatement.

What a lovely meal. I had Onion Bhajis which were nothing short of perfect, just how I like them and 4 in total in one portion. I also had the Chicken Tikka starter, egg pilou rice and chicken tikka masala. The chicken was also cooked to perfection and although it's a dish that seems to vary from place to place this was by far the tastiest CTM I've had in a very long time and I will be ordering again very soon. I had a Bombay Aloo side dish which was also extremely tasty and the mint sauce is probably the best I've ever had. One thing to note is that although I'm not a big salad eater and any salad usually gets left in the bag, the bag of salad that came with my meal was crispy, fresh and varied and I ate it all; plenty of lemon wedges too! There was one free popadom and I am not a fan of these either so it didn't bother me that it wasn't as crispy as it could have been but honestly, that's not a complaint, the whole meal was utterly delicious and I will be back for more!!

Food very good and excellent value for money; also enjoyed the free bottle of wine witha £20+ order! Would order from again. :)

Excellent food! Fantastic Balti with tender meat in a tasty and juicy sauce with some nice freshly cooked tomatoes in it.
