While the food arrived within the time quoted, it was bland and tasteless and in very, very small portions. While we had expected smaller portions because of the lower prices, these were much smaller than we were expecting. The blandness appeared to be because everything was watered down using as few flavoring ingredients as possible while maximizing the base ingredients. For example. panaeng curry was more watery than coconutty/spicy, basil fried rice had one leaf of basil and little else besides rice, etc.

This meal was the worst thaimeal I've had in London. Food was bland and everything was VERY sugary. Portions were stingy and in the meat dishes were hardly no meat. I asked for some extra fresh chilli on the side but this was either forgotten or ignored. I ordered their best sellers from the meny to be sure to get the best of what was on offer, to my disappointment.

Food was of very good quality, delivered quickly and still hot. They did forget the peanuts that should have been in the Thai sausage appetizer and the soup was less spicy than typical. Steak was excellent and better than expected. The quality of the ingredients was much better than average. Will definitely be ordering again.

I have ordered from Thai Rice quite a few times previously but this was disappointing. The food was not of the same quality, was cold and messy (containers had leaked into the bag). With so much choice on Hungry House I will try a different restaurant next time.
