Another great meal, and this one courtesy of Hungry House who fabulously credited our account as a Review prize. (Thank you so much guys!) We went off piste this time and had a very enjoyable murgh masala, as well as a lamb capacilla as our mains, with the complementary chicken korma. In all meat was tender and sauces flavoursome. Low note if any was the pakora, which was not quite as expected, but I appreciate that pakora recipes vary across the globe, so no biggy. Loved the peshwari and chilli nans, the latter of which was suitably spicy. Arrived very promptly, and nice and hot. Another enjoyable meal, many thanks Cinnamon Tree - and Hungry House!

After seeing all the postive reviews I had to give this place ago and I can say it lived up to my expectations! Murg Masala (chicken with mince meat) was lovely.

We order from this place quite often and have always enjoyed our meals, but unfortunately this was not quite up to its usual standard. The bhuna was not spicy at all and the biryani was incredibly bland. Even after adding some of our own spices, it still needed something. It could be that the standard dropped after the bank holiday a quite a few orders. I will not be put off from ordering from Cinnamon Tree in the future, but unfortunately this particular order was a bit dissapointing. I also miss the free naga option as we used to use that to mix into our curries to spice them up a bit. As you can see, we like our spices!

Not often you go straight online to review a meal within minutes of finishing it! But we had to seize the opportunity to commend The Cinnamon Tree. Delivery was very prompt, and food piping hot despite the Tree being quite a distance from us. There wasnt a single dish that was below par. Instead of our usual chicken tikka starters, we ordered a tandoori mixed grill which was excellent and plentiful. The chicken jalfrezi, and vegetable dhansak, both prepared hot to our request (nice touch) ticked the bill too, fresh, tender meat, good veg, tasty sauces. Poppadums were fresh and crisp, and the free chicken bhuna was great for a freebie. Close to faultless, I would say, with special praise for the salad and onion salad acompaniments as they were both super fresh and aromatic with fresh coriander rather than an afterthought - always the sign of a good restaurant. Thank you Cinnamon Tree for giving us a very enjoyable Easter Sunday evening meal. (And please, please put some spicy poppodums on the menu!)
