Can't beat this place, It's became my new local, Prices are great, food is usually more than you can eat, and has never failed yet to impress me on the quality of the dishes!

The mixed kebab starter was tasty however that's the only thing that was. The main was probably the worst Iv ever been presented with. The sauce was foul an nothing close to what would be considered curry, it was a gritty slop and the meat (lamb tika) was old and tasteless. The delivery was fast however so if you want bad food quickly, this is the place for you! No chance of a repeat order.

Order: (Chicken Tikka Korma, Pilau Rice and Popadoms)
First off the order arrived in 15 minutes! can't beat that. sauce was lovely, chicken not the best i've had and didn't seem to be tikka, rice also could have been better, seemed a little harder than usual. all piping hot though and good portion size. improved chicken and rice and this could be my new takeaway of choice Neil, NE8

The service was prompt and the food was piping hot. overall delicious.
The amount they give is definitely worth the money. Anitha, NE8

Fast delivery and the portion was a fair size. However, the lamb was way overdone and tough (looked like it had been kept from a few days ago!) and it was all fairly tasteless.

We were looking for an alternative to our usual Indian, and we decided to try The Curry Garden.
Firstly, the driver couldn't find our address. Not a good sign - none of the other takeaways we've ordered from have this issue. Secondly, my Prawn starter came in shell. I've never in many years encountered an indian prawn dish in a sauce being served in shell. I gave up after a while because it was just too much effort to get to the meat. My husband's chicken starter was gristly and really poor quality. Don't think I'd give it to the family dog to be honest. He gave up on it too. The mains, to be fair, were reasonable, although there was a fair layer (~5mm) of grease to get through. To be honest, if the food was good quality, the value for money would be reasonable, although still slightly on the expensive side for the portions. Alas, the food is disappointing, I've had better locally for cheaper, and I really couldn't recommend ordering from The Curry Garden. I know we won't be! Kate, NE2
