The food arrived within 45 mins. To my disappointment, the food was not spicy. ordered a lamb madras but never seen or tasted anything like that....i have stayed for 3 yrs in india and have had loads of indian food in the uk but this is one of the worst. tempted by positive reviews but what miss.

Sorry to say that I am running out of superlatives in describing the quality of the food that I get from The Royal. They deliver time after time the same quality of food that is always piping hot and not a morsel is wasted. The value for money is second to none and they always give you a complimentary dish as well. Thank you The Royal!! :-)

First time ordering from The Royal, but definitely won't be the last! Delicious food, very speedy service and even got free Poppadoms and a veg side dish!

In the immortal words of Simon Cowell 'I didn't like it! I loved it!!' springs to mind, because every morsel was eaten. Once again (I think this is the 5th time running), I cannot fault the food. If there was one complaint is that the food arrived before I got notice from hungryhouse.co.uk that my order was confirmed at no fault of the restaurant!!

From ordering the food to sitting down and eating, hot delicious food took no more than 20 minutes. Excellent customer service as the delivery person explained a problem with not having any regular coke and delivered two bottles of diet coke or gave me the option of taking the monies off the bill.

Very nice meal. Good portion size. Ready when I arrived. Polite staff. I like the way the kitchen is open plan. We will order from here again.

We were so pleased with our meal. It was delivered with a smile,was delicious which made us smile, so it was smiles all round. It was hot when we recieved it the sauces that came with the meal were to die for and everything that we ate was excelent. Thank You 'The Royal'

From the order to delivery to eating, superb. I cannot fault the quality, the quantity and level o service giving and would highly recommend this restaurant to not only my friends but to the community I live in. Not only did my food arrive hot and within time, the extra meal 'with compliments' added to the quality.

From ordering the food to sitting down and eating it took 35 minutes. The food was piping hot and I cannot be critical of anything I ate. It was also a surprise to be given potato korma free of charge with my order of tandoori chicken (starter), chicken tikka curry, cheese naan and a bottle of soft drink. This is the second time that I ordered Indian, but from different restaurants and for me the service and value for money has to go to The Royal. Thank you for a wonderful experience of Indian cooking.

Delicious Food, order delivered quickly and was even given a free vegetable side dish and popodums and pickles free!! would definately order from them again.

The food was very, very late (nearly two hours after ordering). I phoned up to find out where the food was and 'spoke' to somebody who didn't understand what I was saying and tried to take another order. Eventually he said my food would be five minutes - it arrived around 15 minutes later.
