Order early. My order was 1/2h late, but a lot of food for the money. The lamb biryani wasn't the freshest I've had, but it was tasty and the chilli chicken Dosa was excellent.

3rd time we've ordered 2nd time they have the order wrong, staff really rude and unsympathetic!!
Will add them to my order next time? What about my order now!! Won't be using again!!

we did not receive our order on time and the rice was cold the chicken tikka did have salad or any accomimennts that we have ordered and the naan bread was cold to will be back there

2nd order forgot part of my order and sent wrong items also.
Once we got it sorted 40mins after delivery food was nice.

 

I like trying new places and new thing though this does mean you get the occasional bad meal. Not the case with this one a firm 8.5 out of 10 and good value

We ordered a meal from tricy dosa for the first time and were really impressed with the quick delivery and the food was excellent we also received a complimentary bottle of beer which washed it all down very nicely we will definately be ordering again very soon thankyou

This is the second time I ordered from Trichy Dosa (now Sherpa). I was not happy with the food the first time but this time was much better. The chicken chettinad curry, gobi manchurian and chilli chicken were very good. The chutney for the dosas didn't taste that good. There was not much flavour for the dosa and idlys. Deliver took 1 hour but OK since I placed quite a large order. On the whole food was very good and better than most Indian / Pakistani / Bangladeshi restaurants in Oxford so will definitely order from them again.

Excellent food and service.

It took an hour and fifty minutes before I received my order. I had to phone the business up to chase up my order. Despite giving delivery instructions, the driver had no idea where he was going. My food was cold when I got it, and part of my order was wrong. Never again.

A very enjoyable meal: dosa survived the delivery process well and its filling was richly flavoured, with good chutneys/sauces. The chilli chicken had a good kick (although I would just describe it as 'hot', rather than 'very hot' (but I do like real heat, so perhaps I am being harsh!), and the potato and aubergine dish was delicious. Order acceptance and delivery were just within the promised timing, but perhaps it was a little slow given that it was a (busy?) Friday night ... all in all, I would happily order from Trichy Dosa again and look forward to trying some of the other specialities.

Very good takeaway last night. Delicious food delivered within the timescale stated on the order. Tried a dosa which is a kind of wrap with various fillngs. I opted for the chicken and chilli one and it was out of this world. Lots of flavour and very hot how I like it. My partner had a flawless chicken tikka to start and for mains we had a a trichy special chicken curry which was very nice and I had a chicken chettinadu also fab. I should advise this was described as very hot and if I had to be picky my only complaint was it could have been slightly hotter. The sauce is quite creamy which I wasn't aware of having never tried it so this may have been why but it was still a fantastic dish and still deserves a five star rating. The garlic nan was cooked how I look it and not oily like in some places. All in all a fab restaurant and really recommend it if you are looking to try an indian restaurant that offers a bit more variety than the usual fare that you see in most other venues. Five out of five!

This was our second order from this resturant; the food is really good. Like our first order though, a number of items were not available and needed to be substituted (of five items ordered this time, three were not available); but they were really polite about it and the replacements were okay. Order was delivered very quickly as well.

Delicious Bengali food, definitely value for money, with only problem being finding my address. They kept in touch by phone, and when delivered was worth the wait! Will certainly use them again.
