I looked over my order history and then realised, I never received my toffee pie. While I know I should've remembered that I ordered said pie, it must've slipped my mind. In any case, when the food arrived, the delivery man didn't even know that I have already paid for the food by card. I do hope that if I ever do order food from this place, they really should tell whomever delivered my food that I have paid already. That actually irks me (even now) more than the missing toffee pie.

On a side note, it was nice of them to call to confirm my order and gave me an estimated time of arrival. Rather pointless but it was a nice gesture nonetheless.

The order process was easy. However, delivery was around 1hour 10 minutes from ordering and this impacted the freshness of the food. I would recommend collection.

I have ordered from UK Pizza Express a few times in the past and have usually been more or less satisfied. Today was a very different experience though.
Firstly, the delivery driver did not come to my address, and instead parked two streets away and attempted to describe where he was over the phone - an action which was not very successful due to the driver's abhorrent lack of english communication skills. After approximately 10-15 minutes of interpreting his directions and descriptions of where to meet him, I eventually found his car, just 30 seconds of driving away from my address.

The irony of this was nearly as frustrating as the awkwardness itself.

Due to the delays in actually recieving my food, it was barely lukewarm and not as enjoyable as it could have been. Beyond this, the two burgers I ordered were filled with copious amounts of mayonnaise or perhaps some type of salad cream, an element that had not been present in previous orders from this take-away - and one of the reasons I continued to order from here as I prefer to not have such things with my food. I didn't think it was neccessary to specify "No mayo" since previous orders did not have any without me needing to ask.

Additionally, one of the two ordered burgers did not have a slice of cheese on it - which I did most certainly order.

An unfortunately disasterous experience, contrasting my previous experiences with this restaurant. In all previous transactions, the driver has come directly to my address and delivered warm food of the quality and composition expected. In previous experiences, I have had no regrets about ordering food from UK Pizza Express. I'm hoping that this is an extreme mistake which will not happen again, presuming I can bring myself to ever make an order from this take-away again in the distant future. I will certainly be hesitant to spend my money here again at the very least.

No problems with service. Nice food at a decent price.

I waited and waited for my food and eventually called the shop to chase the order - his reply "do you want it now then " that was after and hour and 10 minutes....if only I'd phoned after 5 minutes.

Driver did not want to come to my door. Wanted me to walk to the end of the road. Apart from that, food was good. Service was good. Will definatley use Hungryhouse again

they are suppose to be "under new management" but i have placed an order with them at 12:20 am and it is now 2:30 am and no food has been delieverd i had this problem in the past with the same resturant maybe there not cut out for this...

Only half of our delivery was delivered at first, then we had to wait 70 minutes for the other half to be delivered, it was lukewarm when it finally arrived. Staff were very rude when i rang to enquire. Absolutley disgusting service

pizza was good but very very over priced £13 for 15IN PIZZA

I order from here quite often and normally the food is very good and the service is good, but this time it was terrible. They forgot my bottle of coke and sent me a can of coke instead of a tango apple. The burger was dry and the chicken wings were badly done- overall, it was a bad experience, which is a shame because I normally really like UK Pizza Express and this is the first time it was so terrible.

The delivery guy had to ring twice as he could not find our address he then insisted we had not paid when he delivered the order, even though we expalined that we had ordered on hungry house. Then the next day the delivery guy rang to ask for payment again and when I expalined I had paid he put me onto his manager who was adament that I needed to give him an order reference number! Very annoying as I was in the middle of something and if I knew there was going to be so much messing about I would not of ordered on here in the first place.

Best Pizza i have had in years! - much better than the big pizza chains!
