What a HORRIBLE meal. £25 I'll never see again. Not a single part of this meal was worthy of its price tag. The starters, chicken pakora and onion bhaji, were so hard I almost broke a tooth, no exaggeration, and barely warm. The only way to cut through them was with my sharpest chefs knife. The starter tandoori chicken was dry and tough. The side breads (chapati, popadum, and nan) were tepid and soggy. The rice was dry. The curry itself was stagnant, 'just' warm enough.
I had high hopes for this place given that it's one of the closest to where I live, but this meal was a complete joke. It had all the hallmarks of a reheated frozen meal - that had been left on the shelf for a few hours after cooking. Not one item in this entire order was freshly cooked. I don't think any takeaway meal is perfect, there's always something that could be better; but this meal was an absolute write off. A complete waste of money. I only gave the place a 'fair' for level of service because they delivered in time; if the chefs 'service' were to be taken into account I'd give it a double-awful. DO NOT ORDER!!! Dave, EH3

Ah, such high hopes I had for this curry. And now I feel so conflicted I don't know which way is up! First of all, it seemed to take forever to arrive (I'm sure it wasn't more than an hour, but I am an impatient soul). Turns out the driver couldn't find us and had to phone my mobile for further directions. Bless. I wouldn't mind so much if we didn't live on a main road. Resulting in the food being delivered...well not cold, but not piping hot either. The chicken pakora were dry as a bone and tasted as if they'd been cooked the day before and reheated. They came with a side of green. Well, bright pea green minty slightly spicy sauce. Very odd - tasty enough, but odd. The onion bhajis were great, no complaints there. My partner's chicken tikka massala was a little bland and not at all spicy, not even a little, which disappointed him but would have been fine for me. But the star of the show was my saag gosht - the moistest, loveliest, amazingest lamb falling apart in a spicy, tangy, spinachfull sauce.. it was amazing! And I shall say it happily - the best takeaway curry I've ever had! Which brings me to my confliction. I want that curry again - no, I *need* that curry again... but my partner is unconvinced by all the rest that went with it. What to do, what to do???

Had one of the Thalis - 4 tubs of curry plus rice, chapati and dips. Excellent value for money and very decent taste combination. Wish they sold drinks though!

The food tasted pretty good, it was Delivered promptly as I live close by. but Sadly the Value for money was SHOCKING! the size of the popadom was TINY i mean tiny just abit larger than a cracker. It seemed like it was store bought. In one of those packs of six you can get for £1. It was so small. Not at all worth 75p. The Naan bread was shockingly bad. It tasted nothing at all like Keema naan. I`ve had some amazing Keema Naan and rice love it. this tasted like some kinda paste in the Naan. It was just so bad. Also 4 chicken Pakoras for £3.95 thats almost £1 a pakora not at all worth it NEVER ordering from them again. not at all worth £12.30 shocking just shocking.
