We had to wait one hour and 40 minutes for the delivery of our order without any apology or compensation.

My order took ALMOST 2 HOURS to arrive from when I ordered!! When it arrived, the chicken wings were coated in the thickest, softest layer of batter I've ever seen - I had to peel it all off. The rest of the food was ok, but generally bad experience as it took so long. I wouldn't order from them again.

The ribs and sesame prawn toast tasted stale and reheated - so much so that the ribs were tough and dried out.
The beef with black bean & green pepper sauce was tasty as always - shame the portion is not as generous as it used to be. The rest of the meal was fine and the Singapore noodles still a very generous serving. E, N1

The starter was awful, tasted like it was fried in recycled oil. The other food were okay.

went for something new from the usually excellent Wing Lee Loi but it was all a bit woeful. The lemon chicken was so lemony it should have been called chicken lemon, no subtlety at all. the chicken curry was like a little baby's curry and the chips were pants. I'll stick to the noodle dishes from now on.

Nice big portions and the duck spring rolls were lovely but the batter used on the sweet and sour prawns is waaaay too think, a bit over cooked outside a bit under cooked inside. Would be much better lighter and the sweet and sour sauce is a bit too much on the sweet side.

I had a lamb curry which was awful. Tasted like lumps of boiled fat. I also had BBQ spare ribs which were nice. Quick delivery food was hot . I won't be ordering from this take away again.

I haven't had a takeway for about 18 months as they stopped accepting cheques but didn't take debit or credit cards so it was good to find out about Hungryhouse.
The food was adequate but not as good as I remember. Fairly good value for money since my last order. Delivery was very prompt so service by the restaurant I would rate as good BUT the service was very poor. I paid online by credit card but the delivery driver had now knowledge of this and wanted me to pay again in cash. After speaking to the restaurant the driver passed his phone to me to confirm that I had already paid for my order. E, N1

i fancied a chinese and wasn't sure where to go... so i got my trusty laptop out and had a look at hungry house. wing lee loi stood out to me becuse of the price and location (i didnt want to wait long) and i wasn't disappointed! food was delivered in about 30mins, was piping hot and there was soo much of it! enough to feed a small army i'd say. Everything i ordered was delicious so thank you Hungry house and wing lee loi you are now a favourite of mine
