Food was tasty. The tofu and squid could have done with some stronger flavours though. The salt and pepper tofu in particular had a strong kick, but not much behind it. Luckilly I had the right condiments and with some seasoning everything was delicious.
Also, the spring rolls didn't come with a dipping sauce. I know they weren't advertised as such but in my experience it's just been standard practice to provide one. Everything arrived on time and the delivery man was very polite and friendly. Jason, NW10

The food was horrible and tastless .It went cold quickly. The pork was dry and looked like it had been cooked a long time ago.the duck portions were small and fatty. The rice had very little egg.Starter was acceptable but not tasty.

I have a phobia of Chinese takeaways...they all seem to be bad..so this time I embarked to research in a little more detail. Scouring the sites I cam across "Yat Sheng" which rang a bell..had I eaten here before? On reading the reviews I decided I would try it. Ordered online..a process which in itself adds another 5-10 mins delay to delivery time but I'm not one to fuss too much. (I did call to check the order had been processed - to which I was told roughly half an hr). 55 mins later ...nothing...what's happened...so I called once again ...to be told the driver had been in an accident...!!..is he OK? Yes..and my food? won't it be cold now? no...because miraculously it was now back at the restaurant. "20 mins be with you in 20 mins", I replied "Ok but what compensation will I get, "Free prawn crackers.." "but I get them free already?? can you give me coke?" "ok" and so the compensation was closed. Now I'm still happily clock watching knowing I now have a can of coke so when my chinese neglected to arrive after 30 mins I was shocked! In terms annoyance I had reached a 5...now I was hungry and now I couldn't wait any longer. I called ..ring ring.."Hello..." "Hi it's (postcode) my food STILL hasn't arrived....?" "Drive is there in 2 minute.." "but it's not good enough I need something more a discount or something" "hold on" a gentlemen now comes on the phone "really sorry driver will be there in 2 mins roads are wet...I will give you discount next time for sure" and so I will conclude the review when I next order a Chinese from here and let you know if I got my food..but the food that did arrive was good and flavoursome...very lucky that it was and they were efficient even if they did make mistakes (that were not necessarily theirs - as I chose to believe".

I've ordered from them twice now! Food is always piping hot and quite tasty. Delivery was in within 40 mins. Portion sizes are quite good for the price I reckon. I usually purchase Crispy Chilli Chicken and Sesame Prawn Toast and I think you could easily split it between 2 people. Anyway, I recommend Yat Sheng! :)
