The quality of the ingredients and cooking was really impressive for a chinese. Typically when I order beef with black bean sauce from other places, it is always dry. The same dish from Yum Sing was quite tender.
Will definitely order again (this was my second time already) Nicholas, W6

I could eat Yum Sing's dim sum every day and not get bored, I think - and the egg fried rice is pretty amazing, too.

We were quite disappointed from Yum Sing this time. I have placed a delayed delivery order for 2230-2240. I also specifically instructed that the delivery guy calls me prior ringing the bell - something that other delvery places followed in the past when I instructed them to do so. Nevertheless the delivery came at 2205! The delivery guy did not even bother calling me as instructed but was ringing the bell instead. I had barely reached home when the food was alredy there. I was unable to pick it up and my flat mate attempted retrieving it instead. The delivery guy was rather rude to him insisting that I had to pick the food up in person!!! I hence managed after a few minutes to get to the door. I told the guy that the order was scheduled for 2230-2240 and that he was rather early. He did not even apologise to me. The laksa noodle soup was horrible. It was barely eatable plus it got cold by the time we were able to eat it - hence the request for a late delivery. The noodles were rather soggy whilst we couldn't even eat the pieces of tofu that looked and probably also tasted like rubber - you could not even chew on them. The chicken in yellow been paste and rice was ok. The toffee apple was also ok but no thrills there. All in all a very dissapointing experience. I hope their manager does something about these issues.

Food was nothing to write home about. But they can't follow simple instructions. I asked the to call the mobile not ring the bell because my baby was sleeping. Yeah they rang it!!!!!

Delivery time 1 hour for 3 boxes of Dim Sum and 1 fried rice. Food not tasty at all. Dim Sum dumplings were dry and the external lay broken. But we got at least something to eat on a rainy day...

crispy duck was nice but both thai curries we ordered (green and red with king prawns) were verging on inedible - vegetables and prawns nice but sauce had barely coconut milk - they went for cornflour (or another thickener) instead. sorry but that just ruined the dishes.

Excellent as per usual. Yum Sing promptly telephoned to confirm the vegetarian status of my order which provides assurance to vegetarians that their dietary request has been fully met.

Yum Sing is a very consistent option. Dishes range from good to very good, value is exellent compared to other Chinese places of the same standard. Crispy beef is a fave and done well, the addition of noodle soups to the menu was most welcome. Sambal chicken is variable and wasn't pulled off well this time. Too many dishes with carrots in which is becoming a common complaint. I will definitely use Yum Sing again but may venture elsewhere if I'm looking for food of the highest standard.

the vege duck rolls were good but the prawn balls were very over cooked and simply awful.
