We regularly either visit this restaurant or get a take away from it and the food is always excellent with very friendly welcoming service

 

I've been a customer of Passage to India for over 6 years now. They are local, convenient and very friendly people. And, of course, the food is great.

Passage to India offer tasty food and don't charge they earth. They are always happy to add non-menu items and the food arrives quickly. The ONLY Indian you need to order from.

Always on time, hot, tasty.

Food was very tasty and I would give 5/5 as value for money but when the food arrived Chicken Tikka Masala was spilled all over a plastic bag. The driver didn't find our address on a first attempt so he went back to the restaurants without phoning us so we had to wait 50 minutes before the food arrived. Obviously the food was leaking while the driver was on his way back because it was wrapped in a paper bag that was completely soaked with masala sauce and then a clean plastic bag. Another two aluminum trays were deformed so I assume the food must have been squashed or fell on the floor. All the dishes were really - really good though. What a shame about the service. And it's my local take-away.

No complaints except the lack of popadoms which they usually give free.

I would normally rate this restaurant, but this was the second time my order was delivered wrong. It may seem trivial, the first time a keema nan instead of a keema puri and this time chicken instead of lamb dhansak; but it just ruins the whole meal. It is a waste of money because your paying for something you did not want all because of poor attention to detail.

The food was barely warm when it arrived and the Peshwari Nan was stone cold. The entire meal was bland and without flavour. Despite the price, we ended up throwing half of it away.

We have been eating in and ordering from this restaurant for over two decades now. In all that time the quality of food, level of service and friendliness of staff has always been extremely high. We never go anywhere else and would highly recommend Passage To India :)

The service at this place is amazing! They actually forgot our free drink. We hadn't even noticed to be honest but in 10 mins they were back at the door apologising, drink in hand. Very sweet. Not many places would do that! The food was nice, not the best we've ever had. Not as much flavour in the goan fish curry as I'd have hoped.

As usual mylocal Indian provides value for money, a friendly delivery service, but most of all quality food. Thanks again.

Lovely food and arrives juldi juldi...

Very Nice Consistently

I was not impressed with the food from here. I ended up chucking out the biryani i bought as it was tasteless. Something tasted burnt/old/not fresh...couldn't quite put my finger on it but it just didn't quite smell/taste right. I don't like writing anything bad about a place but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm sure im a minority as there was a lot of good reviews from here so give it a go.
