Whilst the restuarant did delivery the food very quickly (within 30 minutes), and it was well prepared, packed and piping hot, there were problems with the menu. One of my dinning party had specifically ordered a certain starter as it came with plum sauce, when in fact sweet chilly sauce was sent instead, so they were very disaapointed.
The menu stated 'hot' on certain dishes, so we avoided ordering these, however, all the dishes we received were highly spiced and contained far too much chilly, making for one of our party the dinner experience not that enjoyable. The Indian curry dishes also did not offer value for money, the vegetable dishes were twice the price as similar dishes we had ordered previously from other restaurant, let the portion sizes were smaller, and as already stated they were overly spiced. We are unlikely to order from this restaurant again - sorry! Justin, W10

I specifically asked for my order to be delivered at 22:20 and the delivery man showed up at 21:50. it seemed pointless in specifying a time when the food gets delivered when ever the delivery man wants to bring it.

Ordered dinner - 90 minutes late for W1 delivery, was cold and ice cream melted and my guests had left. Chocolate samosas were good though...

The food from Asiana was good, but everything else about the experience was awful. The e-mail I received said that my order would arrive at my house between 19:20 and 20:10 at the latest. I figured it would be on the earlier side, since those times are generally given as precautions in case the deliverer is running late. Wrong I was! By 20:30 my food had still not arrived (keep in mind, I had ordered at around 18:50), so I called Asiana to find out what was going on. They did not apologize--only said that the delivery man was 5 minutes away and asked if that's the only reason I called. The delivery man was not 5 minutes away, though. It took him ANOTHER 20 minutes. So I got my food at 20:50, and he didn't even bring me a napkin, a fork, or a receipt. Worst service I've ever had. That said, if you are picking up from the store, go ahead and try Asiana. It's not cheap, but the portions are fairly big, and the food was tasty. I got the vegetable pad thai and steamed rice and enjoyed it very much. (Although that may have been because ay 20:50 I would have eaten anything!)

Food was greasy, but it was there. Don't attempt the spring rolls. They did not resemble anything that I knew as spring rolls.

Having discovered Asiana on Hungry house last month and enjoying a quality meal we were excited at having our second meal. Unfortunately, it was an hour late in arriving. It arrived cold and although the gentleman at the restaurant was kind enough to collect the cold food an bring it warm, it was 9.13pm that we sat down to eat a meal that was ordered for 7.20pm. The onesaviour was the excellent quality of pad thai(chicken and prawn)

I like my food spicy and Asiana did not disappoint. Other consumers may want to exercise caution as even the dishes that are normally mild (such as the massaman curry) were quite hot.
Additionally the delivery was prompt, courteous, and the food was still fresh and at the right temperature. Peter, NW1

This was our first order via hungryhouse. I love the site and we are such 'foodies' that it will be so fun ordering a variety of cuisines. Ultimately, our meal was fair. The seaweed was fantastic, great tasting and cooked to perfection. The vegetable tempura, however, was a bit to 'doughey' and felt very stodgy. Our 3 Pad Thai's(2 chicken and one prawn), were excellent sized portions, and good quality with the only fault being there were slightly to many chilly peppers to avoid. All in all a pleasant meal

The pad thai had no flavour and the dumplings were terrible. Probably the worst take away I have ever had

I placed the order at 11:55, got a confirmation - order should be with me by 13:05. Driver arrived at 13:48.
To wait 2 hours for the food is just awful. Dusan, NW2

Response from hungryhouse:
Hi Dusan, I'm sorry to hear your meal took longer than expected to arrive. I contacted the restaurant manager and he informed me that they were a delivery driver short on that day and this was the cause of the delay you experienced. He asked me to pass his apologies along to you. I hope you enjoyed your meal when it finally did arrive and that you had a good afternoon despite this disappointment. |
