Never seen so much food arrive before. Everything came with rice and a side salad. Food was really good just could do with a little more spice. Food arrived quickly and hot.

One of my orders was not available, which happens however was substituted with something even my dogs wouldn't eat, which says it all

Also the bottle of coke I ordered wasn't delivered and when I queried this no attempt to rectify was made I was just told we'll deliver it next time.... Keep the coke there won't be a next time

Also the food was transported on the back seat of a car which to me seems unhygienic at best and no wonder the sauces and oils had leaked out

An experience I won't be repeating

Meat was very dry and overcooked, and pretty scarce for a £14 dish. It was mainly just lots of rice. I won't order from them again.

Had read some great reviews for this place so was expecting a lot, but was very disappointed by the food I was served.

I ordered the kebab makhsoos - at a whopping £14! I usually pay about half that price for a good large sheesh kebab from my local turkish. Nice meat - no problems there. But sooooooo much rice it was ridiculous. I struggled to get through half the rice given to me - had to throw the rest away, a bit of a shame. The dish was also very dry - needed a sauce. The taftoon bread (I was intrigued - had never heard of it before...) was literally like a frisbee - stale, dry, tasteless, hard as a rock.

So, overall, a very (unjustifiably) expensive and disappointing meal. Will I order again?... erm... nah.

Have ordered from this place twice now and the food is amazing!!!!! i cannot rate this resturant highly enough. Massive portions and well worth the money

kebabs how they were meant to be served. not your afterhours meat on a stick affair. havent had persian food this good outside of top iranian resto's in mayfair! awesome flavours, great service and got a huge thumbs up from an experienced mediterranean palate. not cheap but good value for the amounts you get, no other kebabs will get a look-in now I've discovered this place.

As an update to my earlier review below, I ordered again from Deeyar last
night, and on this occasion there were no problems with the order. It
arrived within the delivery times specified, and the food was piping hot and
fresh. I ordered the kebab makhsoos again, and also the shah meygoo which is
huge prawns in the most amazing tasting sauce I've ever had. It was an
absolutely exquisite combination of flavours, which I would highly
recommend. This time the bread arrived as ordered and was ultra fresh and
tasty. In addition there were two small salads, again with very fresh
ingredients and a tasty dressing. All in all, the food was fantastic, and I
can highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, let down by poor service. Placed order at 6pm. At 7.20pm called the restaurant as the food hadnt arrived. neither of the people I spoke to spoke enough english, and muttered something about my address being wrong, which wasn't the case. had to give the entire order again, and was advised food would arrive within 30 minutes. It arrived 40 minutes later in fact, and they had sent salads instead of the bread I ordered. The food itself was delicious, the rice in particular. we ordered the kebab makhsoos and kebab barg. Might give them another try as the food was good.

Delivery was prompt and delivered by friendly staff member. Generous portions which fed roughly 5 people for £16. Very satisfied and will definately order from them again.
