The food is OK nothing special but reasonable. The service is extremely poor, guy who runs this establishment is always in a hurry and complaining that he does not have the time for deliveries. I wonder why he is listed on this site if he cannot deliver to a location, which is less than 2 miles from his store.

As i am a frequent user of this store hence i am used to his poor service and late deliveries but when delivering my last order he managed to surpassed all previous poor experiences. I live in a 3 level apartment building for my last order he came an hour after placing the order and i buzzed him in and waited for him to come up and give me the food for which i already paid online. I waited by my apartment door and was wondering what is taking him so long to climb up 2 flights of stairs to deliver the food and after 15 mins of continues waiting i got concerned so i rang him; to my surprise i was told by this gentleman that he has already left the food outside my apartment door and now he is back in his store. I opened my door to look for the food and it was not there so i rang him again and asked where is my food as it is not outside my door and after a lengthy argument it was established that he has left the food somewhere in the building outside someone else's apartment door. As i am handicapped and cannot climb down the steps he finally agreed to come back and look for the food, which i finally received after another 15 minutes. If the guy would have delivered the food and apologized for this mess probably i still would not have written this bad review but instead of apologizing he was extremely angry and shouting as if all this is my fault. I have to think twice before i will use this store again.

Food was late and when it does show up some items were missing even if i already paid for them.

Food arrived on time but NOT what I have ordered! Also had a phone call half an hour before delivery time asking if I can collect my order myself(!) Will not use them again as they can't deliver promise they put up on this website. I was also advised to call them directly and do not book through hungryhouse.co.uk (!)

I had the most bizzare expereince by ordering my food at Desi sweets. My order was completely different than what i ordered. the guy who delivered the order just casually mentioned that my food order has been changed. They did not bother to call me and ask if they did not have food in stock.

If there was one item on the menu that was changed i could understand however every single item from my ordered had been changed.

also the curries were cold straight from the freezer.
