Review of the week - Sapore Italiano, London

"This is definitely the best italian take away in london.

In fact, it's even better than most of italian restaurants in italy itself, and being italian i know what i'm talking about...

I tried pizza a couple of weeks ago, when i popped into the shop after having heard of it from a friend.

That was an authentic italian-pizza experience: fresh hand made dough, worked out live by the pizza chef (he also made some traditional acrobatic evolutions - a must see!!!); exclusive imported mozzarella and ingredients; perfect stone-cooking; thin and crispy base; AMAZING taste.

I just had "crostini" as a starter, and "pollo alla parmigiana" as main course (delivered to my office). On the menu, portions are listed as "single", but we actually had to split them as they are so generous! definitely a bargain.

Moving to quality, well it was just lovely; it was like being back in italy, in those traditional countryside little restaurants.

"crostini" are a perfect snack, cheap, and they comes with a little bit of fresh salad. "pollo parmigiana" is a very special meal and it was just perfectly cooked.

Can't wait to try all the items in the menu. if you try this take-away, you'll get addicted to it very soon."
